« It was a mix of Japanese and American style hotel. My room was spacious but had a tatami bed. The hotel itself felt more like an American hotel except, of course, for the soaking pools. The reason why is that the breakfasts and dinners were all buffet which is a bit different from kaseiki. Other than that, the all you can drink sake, wine and beer anytime was great. They even had a self serve soft serve ice cream machine! »

« The room was super comfortable and roomy. The soaking tub in the bathroom was amazing because you could have it hot all the time. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. You should note that some of the rooms are not close to the soaking pools or the restaurant. You have to go through a locked door to the street, walk for 5 minutes, enter another building for the soaking pool and restaurant. This place has one small pool for soaking so if you're looking for an onsen experience it...

« Hôtel dans les montagnes reposant et agréable. Service de navette depuis la gare de Nagiso très pratique autant pour rejoindre l'hôtel que pour faire des excursions à la journée (Vallée d'Atira / Nakasendo). Personnel très gentil. Lieu très propre. Le dîner du soir est délicieux. Le onsen tout en bois est incroyable avec vue sur les montagnes ainsi que des bains extérieurs au milieu de la forêt (attention aucun vêtement ni maillot n'est admis dans les onsens au Japon).
