A mid-century gem built in 1961 by local architect, Eisele. Boasting incredible views, the cabin is nestled amid boulders on a 1/2 acre of fenced-in land. Fully modernized inside and out, the kitchen features everything you will need. The A/C will keep you cozy/cool as needed, as will our modern bathroom with heated floors and Yanxuan toilet seat! The private hot tub and yoga deck are all designed with comfort in mind--there is no better way to experience Idyllwild, Pine Cove & Fern Valley.

Idyhaven is an eco-friendly luxury cabin nestled in the San Jacinto Mountains of Idyllwild, California, and a few minutes away from Idyllwild-Pine Cove, and Fern Valley. Embracing a carbon-neutral approach, we recently added solar power, energy-saving appliances, and implemented a drinking water filtration system. It is our intention to give back to the area of outstanding natural beauty by focusing on sustainable, eco-conscious choices. The cabin is cleaned with only biodegradable products and laundry detergent which is in alignment with our greywater reuse and recycle system. We also provide vegan, cruelty-free amenities for our guests.

IdyHaven is just a 5-minute drive by car from Idyllwild town center and 10 min to Pine Cove, and Fern Valley.

The cabin is situated very close to the local scenic vista of Inspiration Point, a great spot to watch the sunset. Idyllwild has kept its small town atmosphere, thanks in part to the locally-owned shops and restaurants. You won't find any chain stores or restaurants here--just sweet Mom-and-Pop-style, family-run businesses. A list of our favorites places to eat and explore will be available in your welcome email and the house manual.

Local attractions include hiking for all levels of ability, rock climbing, and mountain biking.

Driving and parking is the best mode of transport in Idyllwild. Parking is generally very easy - as usual just check the local parking restrictions.

*The maximum number of Guests for Idyhaven is (4) Adults.
All guests must be listed on the rental agreement and need to sign a standard vacation home rental liability waiver. Any additional unauthorized guests will incur charges against your security deposit and you may be asked to leave.

*Guests under the age of 25 years of age will be asked to provide an additional security deposit of $500.

*A Minimum 2-Night Stay is required on all bookings.

*IdyHaven is Non -Smoking cabin. No Smoking or vaping is allowed inside or within the grounds of our property, this includes any open flames or smoke-producing products such as candles, incense, etc.

*For safety reasons, it is strictly forbidden to start any fires anywhere on the property as Idyllwild is located in a high risk fire zone.

*Hot Tub. For the safety and comfort of all guests, we require our guests to shower BEFORE entering the hot tub. Body cream, sunscreen, make-up, or hair products have the capacity to pollute the water and damage our tub. Disregarding these requests could result in a cleaning and drainage fee of up to $200.00. No sharp objects, shoes, or inappropriate items are allowed inside the hot tub.

* No Glassware is to be used outside or in and around the hot tub area. Plasticware is provided.

*Pets are accepted on a case-by-case basis so please reach out to us about your four-legged friends. Picking up after your pet is 100% your responsibility. An additional cleaning fee of $ 25 per dog, per day, will be added to your booking and doesn't include cleaning the outdoor areas. A refundable pet deposit of $200 is required to allow for any pet-related damages or mess. No cats allowed.

*Additional fees of $50.00 per hour may be charged against your Security Deposit if extra cleaning is needed or anything is missing or damaged after your visit. We will notify you of this by email.

*Our Mountain-side property has uneven terrain & a graveled driveway. For those with balance concerns, or who are unstable on their feet we recommend traversing outside locations with caution.

*IdyHaven is surrounded by a National Forest, so you will likely meet a variety of beautiful animals and birds during your visit. Please respect their environment by not disrupting their natural habitat. Please, no littering.

*The health and safety of our guests are of utmost importance to us, and we strive to do all we can to keep you and your loved ones safe during this global pandemic. To help ensure this, we have adopted the recommended COVID-19 Advanced Sanitizing Procedures suggested by Airbnb. For your well-being and for that of our friends and neighbors in Idyllwild, we strongly suggest that you practice social distancing and mask-wearing while you visit any of the stores and establishments in town.

*Commercial photoshoots are prohibited anywhere on the property.
We do not authorize pictures taken anywhere on our property for commercial use. Please contact the owner for permission or syndication.
Below are some important House Rules:
Absolutely NO smoking inside the house or anywhere on the property.
Strictly NO Fires /No Open Flames, we are in a very high risk fire area.
Please remove shoes when entering the house.
Do not eat food in the bedrooms, or on the sofa, or any area requiring professional cleaning.
Any messes beyond the normal may be subject to an additional cleaning fee.
Pets (which must be pre-approved) may not be left in the cabin unattended.
No parties, outside visitors or unconfirmed guests without previous approval.
Please respect quiet hours between 9pm and 7am whilst enjoying the outside areas.
