The Modern + Elegant + Rustic 5 Star "Diamond in the Ruff" cabin is a brand new bling-filled elegant cabin set in the secluded woods but filled with luxurious features guaranteed to make your restful retreat exciting and fun. Secluded back deck with outdoor fireplace and jacuzzi, and rocking chairs. Close to the State park, Mountain Fork River, hiking trails, and Hochatown nightlife this gem sleeps 6 in comfort. Outdoor fireplace, jacuzzi, fire pit, wifi, cable, games, and surrounded with towering pines. It's perfect for two couples in King suites or a big family getaway! Smart TV's in every room and Charcoal BBQ grill.

The place was nice. Beds were awful. Spider webs with spiders in corners of ceiling's. TV’s only worked in living room and one bedroom. Loved the pool table. The hot tub was nice, however when jets turned on there was a lot of foam which probably has not been cleaned. Outdoor’s was nice.

Disappointing but enjoyable

Our experience was more on the disappointing side, beginning with issues at check in. Our check in time was 4 pm but we hadn’t received any instructions on how to get inside the home at all that day. We began leaving messages on the morning of check in, calling around noon, and eventually got in contact with someone from Vrbo to help us reach the owners. We finally received the code an hour and a half after check in time. The owner was extremely nice and apologetic when he realized we never received info on how to get in. We were glad to get inside, but were quickly disappointed with the amount of bugs on the floors around the baseboards. The home was not dirty per se, but it was obvious it had been cleaned weeks ago and was just sitting since then. We had to do an initial cleanup of the floors and surfaces and felt like it was good for the rest of our stay. We also found spiderwebs connecting from the chairs to the tables, also indicating it had been sitting. Lastly, we wore socks around the home for the first few hours and quickly realized the floors were extremely dirty, leaving our white socks brown. Overall, it was disappointing in that way. Onto some great things about the home-location is private and quaint. We loved the hot tub and spent many hours there! The beds were also super comfortable. Despite any issues, we are thankful to have spent a weekend away with family that we don’t get to see very often.

Great Eclipse Stay!

Loved the cabin! The Air Conditioner was already on when we got there and the hot tub was already hot and ready for us to use! The refrigerator was large and clean which was great! the only drawback to the stay was the extra foam layer on top of the beds. Both couples agreed it made the bed so soft that it was uncomfortable. We removed it the second night and slept much better!

This cabin is so cute! It was perfect for two couples. Large bedrooms and bathrooms. We really enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. Location is great. I had to contact the property manager a couple of times, and their response was speedy and helpful. No complaints.

Wonderful Getaway

We found a group of kittens under the house - and had a stray dog visit us that thankfully had a collar on with a phone number so we were able to reunite the pup with it's owner!

A splendid stay!

Everything was absolutely perfect. The cabin was pristine, smelled lovely, and the beds were so comfortable. (Just ask our 3 year old who claimed the master the entire stay) All around, 5 stars. We would give a 10/10 if we could.

Amazing place for vacations

We love this cabins. It was like home, have everything you need, very comfortable. Fireplace , jacuzzi, clean house, all dishes, utensils, pool table, washer dryer, detergen, plenty of blankets, towels everything u need is available in this house . It is closer to all destinations. I have also recommended some of my colleagues who are planning to rent yr cabin.

Weekend at the diamond and the Ruff

This was a beautiful cabin and overall it was a great stay! Three things that could be better. First, were directions. It could not be found on google maps because of a new road. Directions from the host were incorrect initially. After not finding it at 10PM, I messaged the host and he called right away and helped us find our way. Next, there should be steps for the hot tub and finally the indoor fireplace did not work. I would stay there again. It was perfect for my family and a great get away!!

Fun adult getaway!

This place was perfect for two couples and had everything we needed for a quiet New Year’s in. It was close to everything we wanted to go do, but was off of the road and very private. We especially loved the back deck and outdoor tv! Lots of football was watched in the hot tub and by the fireplace.

Amazing Luxury Cabin!

The pictures online do not do this cabin justice! It is beautiful with all of its rustic, but modern amenities. It had comfortable beds and everything you need plus more in the kitchen. The gas fireplace was so convenient with just the turn of a knob on a timer! Our favorite part was playing pool! The billiard table was very nice and something fun to do during our down time. Thank you so much for making this cabin amazing!

This was a slice of heaven!! Everything from the location to the color of the counters were perfect. We were far enough from town to make it seem like we were in the middle of nowhere, but still close enough incase we needed anything last minute. I want to go back but this time stay a little longer. Being there for 2 days is not enough to see everything the area has to offer.

Diamond in the Ruff trip

Overall the place is gorgeous. I do have a few suggestions. The hot tub is nice but there are no steps to get n or out of it which can end up badly if someone slips and hurts themselves falling off. I am not a tall person and had a hard time getting out. You need a measuring cup for the chlorine. Maybe some special cleaner or sos pads for the non stick pans to keep them nice. The dishwasher never worked for us. It shut off after about 5 min. The place is decorated beautifully. It’s very homey. The beds are very comfortable. Showers/ bathroom are awesome. Maybe a couple more chairs in the back. We will definitely be back 😊 Thank you! Julie

Weekend getaway

Property is nice, old fixer up house. A/C is under floor doesn't cool well when covered up by bedside tables. Nice touch with fireplace outside and TV however the remotes outside do not work and one from master bedroom needs another to operate tv. This is a nice place that will soon be crowded with the 2 other cabins being built right next door. Won't be as secluded then. Property has a pool table but not enough room for playing. Cleaning needs to be stepped up, cobwebs in corners by dining table and a splash stain on wall near table as well. Never used hot tub but it looked nice. Was told road was good to property but it is not and couldn't see road sign where to turn because it's covered by the tree! Overall cabin is nice maybe a bit high. Probably wouldn't go out of my way to rent again.

Very clean! Perfect spot for a weekend getaway!

My wife and I had peaceful weekend away, we really enjoyed the hot tub perfect for soaking away our aches and pains at the end of a long day sightseeing!Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again.
