Hydra studio with patio 250 meters up from port

Take a break and unwind at beautiful Hydra where no vehicles are allowed.
This cozy, stone made studio was fully renovated in 2024. Arriving at Hydra port , our assistant will welcome you and start immediately to walk up the hill for 250 meters. In case you require help to carry your luggage, only Donkeys are available (extra cost)
A 40 sq meters studio has a lovely patio with sea view and umbrella, 2 single beds, 1 double sofa bed, kitchen, bathroom , washing machine, AC, Internet up to 100

Keep in mind that you are visiting one of the few "authentic" places in the world and the way of living in many aspects does not follow , "modern standards"

Please note that Hydra town is built on a hill and there are no street names. Most properties in Hydra require to walk up a lot of stairs . Our studio needs at least a 10-13 minutes walking up the hill . Upon arrival at the port , you can decide if you need help with your luggage and rent a donkey , which is the only mean of transportation in Hydra
You can negotiate on spot the cost , paid only in cash.

It is advisable to purchase whatever good you may need during your stay, from the shops at the port, before start walking to the apartment.

According to the GREEK LAW for short term rentals and our house rules , regardless length of stay , we offer you 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 shampoo, 1 soap for body and 1 for dishes
We can not provide you anything else during your stay . ONLY hotels are allowed

Google maps is not working in most part of the island as there are no streets , only paths and staircases
Please throw away your garbage at the bins that you find around the port . No Garbage collection near the apartment
Hydra has a limited resources of water and energy. In order to avoid black outs or limitation of use of water, Hydra's guests are kindly asked to turn off all appliances (especially A/C) when thay ere not home and in general to be environmentally friendly.

In our country
a) we do NOT throw toilet paper in the toilet bowl
b) You need to press the boiler button and wait for 20 minutes in order to have hot water (in Greece we have electric boilers)
