The neighborhood is nice and quiet and we saw several deer walking around and an old sweet black lab that walks around the block. « This is a corporate property and it shows. It's obvious that there is no one that cares about this place. I've stayed at many VRBOs all around the country and this place was the saddest by far. « I came up here for a solo writer's retreat and could not be happier about the accommodations. Becky puts a lot of love and care into this cottage house. A Marine sergeant would shake Becky's hand for the cleanliness, and so much attention is put into the bee theme. I enjoyed reading on the outdoor patio furniture around sunset. Everything is well made and well organized. She deserves all the buzz. :) »

« This weekend was a perfect get away. The house was cute and quaint. We felt comfortable and at home while staying here. We have two little boys and they absolutely loved the yard, beach and dock. They spent all day playing in the water and sand letting their imaginations run wild. The lake was perfect for cruises, fishing was hit and miss this weekend but still caught a Northern, large mouth bass and little blue gills. Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice get away weekend...

« We were planning on cross country skiing but Mother Nature had other ideas. Lots of hiking near by, 6 min from town, was just the right size for the 4 of us! We enjoyed our stay and would rent again. To the owners may want to add more dish towels or a drainer for under drying rack and a new toaster as you have to unplug it to get the toast to come up. »

« This cabin was gorgeous! The views of the small lake were amazing, the fire pit area was great and everything worked. The cabin is beautifully decorated and had everything you would need for a great stay. The only negatives to this place were that it did not have Wi-Fi and the tv in the basement is pretty small for the space. Those did not impact us much as we enjoyed the beautiful outdoors and took in all that nature had to offer. »

« The house was fantastic. We had a great experience and really enjoyed the trip! Only thing that could have been a bit better was the bedroom on the lake side and the bunk room (especially the bunk room) were pretty cold. Regardless of that though we had a great time! »

« The house was beautiful. Pros: a lot of space The view was absolutely stunning Full kitchen Large table for all the guests 2 full bathrooms Plenty of linen Comfortable beds/ couch Kayaks were part of the rental! Cons: the bugs were so terrible we weren’t able to enjoy being outdoors We randomly had the lawn care guys come on Saturday afternoon which with a house full of women in the middle of no where was a little off putting. « This property is adorable and in a super convenient location. Incredibly well stocked kitchen, comfy beds and linens, nice back yard and deck, and a super coffee bar set up! Pet friendly too which puts it over the top. Excellent communication from the owner and nice personalized touches to make us feel extra welcomed in their home. Would definitely stay here again! »

« Loved our getaway up north. We rented a boat from a resort nearby and spent lots of time enjoying the water. We had one problem the first evening, and the hosts were very responsive and took care of the issue in a timely manner. The upstairs shower needs some attention because the hot and cold water tabs are reversed. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and recommend you give it a try. »
