Brand new cottage on 3-Mile Lake in the heart of Muskoka

Stunning cottage on the waterfront of Three Mile Lake in the heart of Muskoka, just 2 hours north of Toronto. Built in 2020, this year-round, 1,800 sq. ft. cottage features 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, a large mudroom and a stunning open-concept kitchen, dining, living-room area. Delight in the cathedral ceilings (equipped with Bluetooth speakers), large fireplace and floor to ceiling windows that bring the outdoors in.

Enjoy the lakeside views on the deck while BBQ-ing, sitting around the outdoor fire pit, relaxing on the dock, kayaking or paddle boarding on the water, or ice-fishing in the winter.

**PLEASE NOTE: As Three Mile Lake is a fairly shallow lake, we do not guarantee water quality after August 1st. Please message with inquiries in this regard**

Our property manager was pleasant and responded to requests, the photos online definitely dont show the whole picture, missing a lot of amenities that you would think would be standard at this price point such as a microwave and a coffee maker that worked correctly, on that topic the oven portion of the stove had an intermittent code making it inoperable and successfully canceling my wife’s planned Christmas dinner , the condition of all pots , pans , glassware was deplorable, no face cloths , the area used for indoor trash can was disgusting , the finish carpentry inside was again terrible with areas like the fireplace having inch gaps around the opening, all of this wasn’t shown in your online photos, not a big deal if it was a fishing cabin , but as previously mentioned not acceptable at the price .

Fantastic Family Getaway!
We stayed for two nights at this well-designed, modern cottage and enjoyed every minute of the time spent here. The view is quite splendid, as the cottage sits just steps away from Three Mile Lake. Once down on the dock, you really cannot ask for more. The view does take your breath away: shimmering waters, expansive and open, clusters of trees and a picturesque shoreline on the horizon, the sky and shining sun above. Inside, the cottage has a strikingly open flow. The living and dining area, including the kitchen, are hugged by unusually tall windows. They rise up to the ceiling, letting in the light, and providing a beautiful view of the lake and the trees. The décor is simple and elegant, and also cosey, with a fireplace for those cooler evenings. There is a well-equipped kitchen, a fridge and a pantry that are nicely stocked with condiments and other ingredients. We were a little unsure of the barbecue on the deck, but it behaved quite well and our steaks and burgers were deliciously done. An important test for any home-away-from-home is the quality of the bedrooms and, in particular, the bed and mattress, and we all felt nicely rested. We spent just two nights and three days here, but longer stays would be quite doable. All in all, the cottage lived up to our expectations, and then some. We would go back any time!

Amazing experience!
We had a really great stay here. You can immediately tell how much attention went into making this home both beautiful and comfortable. The property itself is large and gives you the amazing cottage feel you expect in the Muskokas. We loved the deck, and of course the dock has a beautiful view of the lake. The bedrooms are perfect with really comfortable beds and bedding. Holly was an incredible host - she answered our questions quickly and was so helpful start to finish! This gorgeous cottage does not disappoint and we would highly recommend!

Beautiful getaway
This place was stunning and better than the pictures. It had all the comforts of a modern home with the ambiance and environment of a private family cottage. The best parts were the access to the water via the dock, gorgeous views of the sunset, built-in home and deck speaker systems and variety of kitchen appliances for use. Holly is a very responsive and helpful host with great tips on local resteraunts and activities. Our family had a wonderful time!
