« Solid spot close to Middletown. Check in was easy, house was as described. Cleaner left dishes in the dishwasher and a couple of trash items on kitchen counter but putting them away didn’t detract from our stay at all. »

« Overall cleanliness was fine, bath mats in bathrooms were not clean. Covered in hair and dirt, very gross. Was not able watch anything on the tv apps without needing a parental code, which the property manager could not tell us. I had to sign into my own apps on the tv. So just be prepared for that. »

« Excellent host, communicative and helpful. The space is a nice space and plenty of rooms for all. The river access is great and really lovely to have. If you're going in the winter there is a great, new sauna on the deck. We had a great time grilling on the propane griddle and relaxing on the deck. Peaceful and quiet. Be aware, if you are tall, the doorways are a little low, and one of the bedrooms is just off the kitchen and not private. »

« When I arrived to the room it was really warm in there, I figured out how to turn the ac on and it cooled off some but the room remained warm. The bed was extremely comfortable and cozy, the room was very clean. Unfortunately the tv didn’t work and the restaurant staff downstairs were very loud and you could hear everything, at times they were cussing and yelling, made my stay unsatisfactory, the front door had a squeak to it so every time someone came through you heard it. Probably won’t stay...

« We stayed only one night, but we wished we could have stayed longer. The house was very spacious and clean. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the beds were very comfortable. I highly recommend it to anyone who would like to book this home. »

« 5 stars across the board! Super communicative host, even offered to change cleaning crew schedule to accommodate our needs. There is a beautiful creek going through the back yard. It’s lovely. I feel like pictures dont do it justice. Definitely a wonderful experience. »

« This was the perfect place for a long weekend where we wanted to be disconnected yet still have modern amenities. Everything was great from the check in process to the place itself and the location. Looking forward to staying here again in the future! »

« This was a nice, clean property with everything I required for a trip with my son. It was very quiet and the only neighbor we saw was a little rabbit who visited every morning.The owner seemed very kind and understanding, which is always a blessing.The area itself offers no real public access to Highland Lake but there are plenty of other areas to explore nearby. Peck's Supermarket (actually a Foodtown) is very close if you need to grab anything.Thanks for having us, Pam! »
