« My husband and I were traveling through the UP and were looking for different places to stay as we made our way to Copper Harbor. The location was beautiful and serene. « My family stayed at Lola's for Michigan Tech graduation weekend. It was very comfortable and they thought of everything to make our stay memorable. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a home away from home when visiting the Houghton/Hancock area of the UP. »

« This home was compact, but very clean and had many thoughtful touches like well-placed night lights, a good bread knife, etc. The hosts checked in with us to be sure we had no problems and we were doing fine. The home is on a highway, so there is a bit road noise, but it is located so that neither Copper Harbor or Houghton seemed too far to go. The house book had some good recommendations for restaurants and we had a nice meal at Fitzgerald's. It was great to have the ability to do some laundry...

« Can’t rave enough about the accommodations at Stella’s Hideaway! Everything was well stocked, clean and comfortable beds. The views were great, the rocks were even better! The location was perfect for checking out mine tailings and heading up to copper harbor. Calumet has a really tasty coffee shop and cute stores. We stayed for 4 nights and found lots of agates and even some lake worn copper to add to our ever growing rock collection. Sifted through mine tailings and found some greenstone...

« Overall a really good property at a reasonable price. With a few improvements this place would have five stars but the would not let that deter me from another stay. Plenty of room, clean house with everything you need to feel at home. My only recommendation is to get some actual bed pillows instead of the decorative ones that are on the beds. »

« We stayed in mid May, 2024, guests were myself, my wife, and our dog. This cabin was fantastic for our trip to the Keweenaw peninsula. It feels very private, you have tons of space, the property is gorgeous, and it's an easy drive into town for meals in the evening or supplies. The sauna was a particular treat! We really enjoyed staying here and would absolutely stay again if we're ever back in the area! »
