« This property is old and somewhat outdated, however it was clean and suitable. A star off for the lobby scent that was overwhelming and off-putting. Not a fan of that, so if you are sensitive to smells this place might not be for you. (We laughed and wondered if they were trying to mask another smell) Husband said his breakfast omelette was very good; entire staff seemed friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. »

« Nice, spacious room with good amenities. Check in is by texted code as the hotel consists of a few rooms on the 3rd floor of Pioneer Condos, so there were no interactions with staff and no daily housekeeping, which was absolutely not a problem for our short stay. Location in downtown is very quiet, but there is a restaurant in the building, a brewery in the building, and an excellent coffee shop (Nashwell) across the street. Parking was easy as was getting around Lubbock. »
