Welcome to our newly renovated, barn house! Staying here is an experience! This rustic barn house once housed hay and tractors, but now provides a relaxing escape with peaceful surroundings. Our country barn is in the ideal location. You will be far enough from the city that you can see the stars at night, yet only 15 mins from the heart of historic downtown Hot Springs and 15 miles in the other direction you will be at the well-known Lake Ouachita State Park. Come encounter barn life.
The space The barn is conveniently located on our family property but is far enough from the main house, allowing for full privacy. Beautiful views of mountains and pasture areas make for great opportunities to unwind and relax. The open pasture area is home to two sweet miniature donkeys (Phiona and Donkey). Some noises of farm life may be heard from time to time but over all they are very quiet. Keeping with the barn’s original structure, this barn house has a very open concept. ** Please note that our barn house does have a spiral staircase and a high, open loft area. The only doors are for the restrooms. The main sleeping quarters are located upstairs in the loft, providing a queen-size bed in one area, a twin-size bed in another with an additional pull-out twin bed for added sleeping. Extra amenities upstairs include a powder room, coffee bar with mini fridge, seating area and a snug reading nook. The lower level features a comfortable living room area with electric fireplace, a fully functioning kitchen stocked with dishes, glassware, utensils, coffee, creamer, and sugar. This area also provides a dining area and a gaming area allowing great family time playing foosball, mini pool or checkers. This gaming area also transforms into additional sleeping quarters as a conveniently located queen size murphy bed can fold out to accommodate additional guests. The barn, in its uniqueness, will surely be a place you will remember; however, the most loved area here is the natural outdoors. With this in mind, we have created an inviting patio area, equipped with a firepit, to allow you to kick back and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Space includes: • Comfy Queen-size bed (upstairs) • Single Twin-size bed (upstairs) • Fold out Twin bed (upstairs) • Murphy Queen-size bed (downstairs) • Electric Fireplace • Coffee bar with Keurig, mini fridge (upstairs) • TV with Roku (both upstairs and downstairs) -you will need to use your own passwords to access apps requiring subscriptions. • Wifi Access • Full access to patio including peaceful sitting area with fire pit (great for watching the birds in the daytime and the stars at night) and table and chairs with propane grill.

We stayed(6 of us) 4 nights, cooked all but one meal there and spent our evenings on the patio just relaxing watching our young grands play and enjoyed being in the serene farm atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The mini donkeys and the nook upstairs were my granddaughters favorite. We were all very comfortable. Char and Billy were phenomenal hosts and the barn showed the love they put in to it. We were nestled perfectly between Hot Springs and Hot Springs Village. So souvenir shopping was easy. We pulled our jeeps up here to ride the trails which were close and did not disappoint! We stumbled on several spots in the Ouachita Mnts where we just unpacked, picnicked and let the grands swim in several small creeks. Our grandchildren really enjoyed that.Top 10 vacation spots for us!
