With enough space to sleep 2 guests, this comfortable site is the perfect getaway for couples, friends or solo adventurers. And for those looking to make it a group retreat, our neighboring glampsite, Black Fox Den, can accommodate 2 more guests with just a short hike or drive away (1/8th mile).

The camp is fully equipped with an American-made, heated canvas bell tent, a real queen-sized platform bed, and layers of comfortable bedding for a restful night`s sleep. Relax on the covered patio in rocking chairs or enjoy a meal at the outdoor kitchen and dining area. Don`t forget to take a swing or lounge in the 2-person hammock while gazing at the beautiful natural surroundings. And, of course, every campsite needs a fire-ring and propane grill for a classic outdoor dining experience.

SHARED CAMP RESTROOMS:
Shared campground restrooms are 100 yards away and include a half bath and a separate three-quarter bath with shower, sink, vanity, mirror and toilet. Both bathrooms are private (like a home bathroom), have running hot and cold water, electricity and septic. Towels, wash cloths, hand soap, shower gel, shampoo, hair dryer, toilet paper and various convenience items provided. Bathrooms may be shared by up to 2 other people and are cleaned and sanitized daily.

DOG FRIENDLY: Well-behaved, house broken dogs of any size and any breed welcomed. Dog(s) must remain under control, leashed and with owners at all times. For their safety, DOGS CANNOT BE LEFT IN THE CAR OR TENT BY THEMSELVES even if they are crated or tethered. Doggie day care and pet sitter options are available in Hot Springs if needed. Trails, parks, downtown and many nearby restaurants are dog friendly! Bona fide Service Animals welcomed! Due to the remoteness and ruggedness of the surrounding area, Fern Dell is not a safe or suitable environment for non-dog pets or non-dog emotional support animals.

EV: There is a high-speed DC electric car charging station located 3 miles from camp.

Bathroom facilities are 100 yards from camp.
No internet, wi-fi, cable or TV provided.
It is a packed gravel drive to/from the campsite; not paved. We drive our Honda Accord back and forth with no problem. 4-wheel drive is not needed.

NATURE: There is still camp in the glamp! You may encounter bugs, wind, rain, wildlife... we strive to make sure our guests are comfortable, but Fern Dell is purposely situated in nature and nature is part of the package.

The 16-acre property includes the hosts` home and a second 2-person glampsite (Black Fox Den - 1/8th mile away). Bathrooms may be shared with up to 2 glampers staying at Black Fox Den and are cleaned and sanitized daily when both glampsites are occupied.

Firewood, s`mores kits, free ranging chicken eggs and seasonal vegetables available for sale onsite.

Park right at your site. Walk or bike 1 mile of easy, private trails on the property.

3 miles / 7 minute drive to downtown Hot Springs shopping & restaurants, spas, galleries, theaters, bathhouse row, the National Park, Convention Center, Majestic Ball Fields, and other attractions.

No bathroom facilities at the campsite (100 yards walk or drive).
Bathrooms are shared with up to 2 other people at our other glampsite. Bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized daily when both glampsites are occupied.

No internet, wi-fi, cable or TV provided.

It is a packed gravel drive to/from the campsite; not paved. We drive our Honda Accord back and forth with no problem. 4-wheel drive is not needed.

Onsite trails are for non-motorized hiking/biking use only. e-bikes okay.

THERE IS STILL SOME CAMP IN THE GLAMP!
There could be rain. You will stay dry in the tent!
There could be wind.
It could be hotter or colder than your ideal.
You may encounter bugs and wildlife. We provide insect repellent spray for humans and dogs, but recommend your dog be on a tick preventative.
We do everything possible to ensure our guests have a wonderful, memorable and comfortable stay, but Fern Dell is in a natural setting; nature is part of the package and beyond our control.
