Covering the ground floor of a beautifully converted windmill in the coastal town of Hornsea, this one-of-a-kind hideaway is just under a mile from the sandy beach, bustling promenade, and seaside attractions.
Step inside to find a spacious, inviting space thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. The unique circular lounge/bedroom showcases the beautiful original main wood pillar, whilst creating a warm and intimate atmosphere. Curl up on the sofa with your favourite programme on the Smart TV or sink into the sumptuous king-size bed for a restful night's sleep. The bright and airy kitchen/diner is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals using locally sourced ingredients. On sunny days, throw open the French doors from the kitchen and enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the fresh air. A stylish shower room with a modern digital shower completes the interior. Outside, your private garden provides a peaceful spot to soak up the surroundings. Start your morning with coffee in the fresh sea air and round off the evening with al fresco dining under the stars. Hornsea, once a favourite Victorian holiday destination, remains a delightful spot for a getaway, with an array of shops and eateries within easy reach alongside a long, sweeping shoreline. Further afield, the historic market town of Beverley (13 miles) beckons with its independent shops, lively market, and magnificent minster. For a taste of city life, visit Hull (15.5 miles) and explore its award-winning aquarium and cultural attractions. A scenic drive along the coast leads to Bridlington (14 miles) and the stunning landscapes of Flamborough Head (21.5 miles) with sea views, bays for dipping your toes in the sea, cliff top coastal walks and if your lucky you will see the seal colony.
