Beautiful property
We loved spending time on the balcony enjoying the priceless view of the property and the ocean. The rooms were clean, had everything we needed, and the Papakea resort was so lovely and comfortable. We had a wonderful week!

Comfortable and convient
This place was so perfect for my stay in Maui. I really enjoyed staying here on this property. And I’ll reccomend this property/condo to stay at. It’s such a comfortable place. There’s two pools on site and we enjoyed those as well. Very close to the beach!

Fantastic Place to Enjoy Everything Maui has to offerq
Papakea has the nicest grounds in the area with close access to excellent beaches and
dining. Unit is nicely furnished and well equipped for staying at home meals. Balcony has excellent beach views for nice relaxing times when not out exploring. Great trip :))

Great Location
Very pleased with the location of the condo and the amenities provided. Parking is a little tight if you have a larger vehicle, but ample spots are available. No direct beach access, but just a short drive to free beach parking. We would stay again.

Clean, ocean front condo
This condo was very clean and bright with quick walkable access to both the ocean and the pool/ hot tub! We stayed for 4 nights and would have been very comfortable here for longer. Definitely recommend for 2 (or a 3rd on the couch).

Nice Unit in a Nice Complex
Updated, clean, bright unit with ocean and garden/pool views.
The complex is nicely landscaped and includes a number of fun activities (pickle ball, shuffleboard, beanbag toss, swimming, etc). And it is not crowded with 2 pool areas and a large lawn along the oceanfront.
Close to swimming and good snorkeling.

Wonderful property!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Papakea. Our unit was lovely and well equipped. Beautiful views of the pool and ocean. Grounds are meticulously maintained, staff is friendly. If you visit be sure to get the cinnamon rolls from Papi's just down the street from the property. Was pleased to find coffee and coffee filters were provided at the unit. Would love to come back! Thank you.

Over All, Very Good !!!
All was great !!! I do have two suggestions though : It is time to replace the couch !!! My second is, the bar stools are VERY uncomfortable !! They appear to be new, but, whatever you paid for them, the seller got the best part of that deal. They are o.k. to hang some clothes on, but, that's about it. Over all, The condo is very nice and we would stay there again.

Perfect stay
This was the perfect place for us. Not terribly expensive like the resorts but still nice enough to feel spoiled in Maui. The ocean is ten steps away but the beach is pretty rocky, you can easily walk to nearby beaches that are much better for swimming, snorkeling. Grounds are kept very beautiful. You can also walk to nearby grocery store, great pancake breakfast place and a food truck park. Place was clean and comfortable. We really appreciated the beach chairs, toys and boogie board left for us to use. We already want to plan another visit!

Wonderful Condo - Would stay again!
The condo was the perfect place for a stay in Maui. The location was great and is right by the best beaches and spots in Lahaina. There are lots of restaurants and life around but the resort itself is peaceful and quiet.
The ocean and pool views from the balcony are amazing and are perfect for watching sunset. The condo is very clean and the furnishings are nice and comfortable. The kitchen is compact and contains anything you'd need to have a nice meal in or have a BBQ at the pool.
The resort amenities are excellent. Long days at the pool are a must!
Overall, a wonderful place to stay for a comfortable and memorable vacation. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

Vacation in Paradise
Location, location, location. The condo was perfectly located in the Papakea Resort close to the water with breathtaking views of the ocean and pool from the lanai. The condo is clean and nicely decorated with what looks like some recent updates that are not pictured. The complex is very well maintained with beautiful gardens and great amenitites. Even though it was Thanksgiving and most units were occupied, the pool area was never too busy and always had lots of loungers. No getting up at 6am to save a seat. We were happy to find that the strip mall across the street had a Times supermarket and a few great restaurants. We enjoyed the evening entertainment as well as a great meal at Java Jazz. We were even able to do our Pre-travel PCR test at the medical clinic there. We had a very peaceful relaxing stay. We would definitely recommend this unit and can't wait to come back.

Very nice condo but a bit musty and front desk very bad communicators at check in and out
This was a beautiful property for sure. However the unit although very clean, was very musty smelling in all rooms when we arrived. All Vacassa said was to let it air out and that they would contact the local desk to help us. No one ever contacted us or helped. It never did air out the whole time (4 days) and we left the doors and windows open alot. There may be something else going wrong in there. Vacassa or the owner or the Papakea maintenance should do something about that but no one stepped forward after we asked for help. Other than that it was a great location and a very comfortable unit.

Gorgeous view but lacking unit
The pros: this unit is incredibly clean. The view is stunning and Papakea is a great resort! It’s on the smaller side and is so peaceful and quiet. It’s in a great location, right across the street from a large grocery store, several restaurants and a short walk to The Farmer’s Market and Bad Ass Coffee Co. the furniture is comfortable. Both the king bed and sofa bed were very comfortable.
The cons: the washer/dryer unit is old. The dryer didn’t work but we didn’t know that until after washing a load of clothes. We called Vacasa and they sent someone out promptly to look at it. Unfortunately, nothing could be done. The solution was from them was for us to go to a facility 5 min up the road. That is not how we intended to spend our time and intentionally rented a unit with laundry available. The other disappointment was the kitchen. The knives were so cheap and dull they were unsafe. The pots and pans are the old toxic non-stick kind and there was nothing in the kitchen as far as spices, not even salt, pepper or oil. We will definitely go back to Papakea Resort but not this particular unit.
