With four comfortable bedrooms, everyone in your group will have their own cozy corner to relax. Bedroom 1 features a luxurious California king bed and lake views, while Bedroom 2 is equally inviting with a queen bed. Two queen beds in Bedroom 3 and a twin over queen bunk bed in Bedroom 4 are ideal for families. A queen sleeper sofa in the living room provides additional sleeping space.
The outdoor space is where Lakefront Haven truly shines. Your private dock and beach make it easy to dive into lake activities, from paddling out in one of the provided boats or lounging in the sun. Soak in the private hot tub while gazing out over the lake, or gather around the alfresco dining area to enjoy an evening meal as the sun sets over the water. A built-in grill provides the perfect setup for evening BBQs. The expansive lawn offers plenty of space for outdoor games, meaning there’s something for everyone to enjoy at this outdoor oasis.
Perfectly located for outdoor enthusiasts, Lakefront Haven offers easy access to Homewood Mountain Resort, Squaw Valley, and Alpine Meadows for epic skiing in the winter. In the warmer months, hike or bike the scenic trails along the West Shore, or take a short trip into Tahoe City to explore local shops, museums, and eateries. Home Truths: - Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per pet. - There is a queen-size sofa bed in the living area. - Guests may use the two paddleboards, rowboats, and canoe provided, but must wear the life vests from the white marina box and return all items to the storage rack after use. - Please note this home does not have air conditioning. - Due to extreme wildfire risk, any type of outdoor wood-burning fireplaces, fire pits, or charcoal grills are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in fines starting at $5,000 per Lake Tahoe short-term rental regulations. - Please note that all outdoor furniture and amenities, including grills, are seasonal and available from Memorial Day through Labor Day. - Boat buoy available to rent for $125/day (requires signed liability waiver and is subject to local regulations). - Please note, construction is still ongoing next door, though nearby projects are nearing completion.
Parking Details: - 3 parking spaces available. - No street parking allowed. - Violations result in fines of $1,000 and up, and revocation of the permit after three or more violations.
This home comes with a pack n' play travel crib available. A high chair can be provided upon request with at least 24hrs advanced notice.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.
As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

Location, location, location!
Lakefront Haven has the most breathtaking views of the lake. The home has all the amenities you and your family need during your stay. Watching the sunrise over the mountain ridge and onto the lake is truly a spiritual experience at Lakefront Haven.

Beautiful waterfront home
This is a happy home that is set up for summertime fun. There is nothing quite as good as having a pier on the lake. The home has that old Tahoe feel, not perfectly updated but still very comfortable and clean. We would love to stay here again.

beautiful lakefront home
Location! We love the quieter side of the lake and the direct lake access. We brought our kayak and used it every morning. There was a dingy and canoe available too. The dock is amazing. The cabin is very well equipped and has everything you need to be comfortable. It was clean and supplied. We also loved the restaurant across the street. Thank you so much for letting us use your beautiful home! We hope to return!

Basically a great stay for my wife and I, our three sons two daughters-in-law, and two small grandchildren were all together for a week celebrating or 40th wedding anniversary at this beautiful lake house. Thank the owners for how well stocked (kitchen, games, SUPs, canoe) that were available. We hope to be back in a few years. Now something's we want to bring up that the owners should know. 1) my wife and our two year old grandson set off two different mouse traps. No one was hurt, but FYI. 2) property needs a deep clean. Example fire place iron screen door is loaded with dust. 3) ongoing construction next door A-frame property to the south. Took away from the peaceful setting in the back on the lake. Noise and workers during the week. Would have been nice to know this ahead of time. May have made a different rental decision so this would not have been an issue.

Unfortunate Bear Break In
Unfortunately, a bear broke in in the early morning (4 am) of the first day/night that we stayed there, and we had to call the sheriff to run him off. The bear broke in agaiin a couple of hours later, so we had to leave for safety reasons. This is not the owner's fault, of course, but a bear breaking into a cabin twice in the span of several hours made this an uninhabitable winter location for us. Too scary.

Lovely location next to the lake!
This is a sweet spot with gorgeous views, both from the dining table and the hot tub. It was cozy for the 7 of us to relax by the gas fire and play board games at the table. The kitchen was well equipped for all our cooking needs. We did experience a few needs over the weekend and the local rep was quick to respond and help out each time. Additionally they were very responsive when we wanted to stay an extra night and changed our minds about a late check out. Very accommodating, thank you!
One down side (which is why this is a 4 star rating) was the lack of heating in three of the 4 rooms. Given we were there during the winter (tons of snow!) it was noticeable that the rooms lacked heating vents. Otherwise, the location to both the lake and Homewood were incredible, the house had all that we needed in terms of comforts, and we really enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to another visit!
