Homewood sits on Lake Tahoe's West Shore, in the quiet stretch between Tahoe City and Tahoma, a few short blocks from the lake and the bike path that runs along the shoreline. Inside, the home strikes a nice balance. Plush furnishings, modern finishes, and a sleek kitchen keep it feeling fresh, while camp-inspired decor and warm wood accents remind you that you're in the mountains.

Three levels give everyone room to spread out. The primary bedroom has a king bed, two more bedrooms each have a queen, and two smaller rooms with twin beds are a natural fit for kids. Three full bathrooms and a half bath keep mornings moving. The kitchen is stocked for real cooking, with a dishwasher for the cleanup after, and a dedicated workspace with fast WiFi covers anyone who needs to check in with the office.

The spa room is the highlight. A sauna and hot tub share the space, so after a day on the slopes or the water you can trade off between the two for as long as you like. Afterward, settle in by the fire, start a round on the shuffleboard table, or pull out the games for the evening. Sleds are ready for the next snowfall, and in summer the furnished deck with a grill is where morning coffee and dinner outside happen.

The location keeps the best of the West Shore close. Homewood Mountain Resort is minutes up the road, and Palisades Tahoe and Alpine Meadows are about 35 minutes north for bigger ski days. When the snow melts, the lake and bike path are a short walk away, Sugar Pine Point State Park is about 6 minutes south, and Meeks Bay and the trails around Emerald Bay are an easy drive for beach days, boating, and hiking. Tahoe City's restaurants, shops, and golf are a short drive north.

- Due to extreme wildfire risk, any type of outdoor wood-burning fireplaces, fire pits, or charcoal grills are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in fines starting at $5,000 per Lake Tahoe short-term rental regulations.
- Please note that all outdoor furniture and amenities, including grills, are seasonal and available from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
- This home does not have AC.
- This home allows pets for a fee. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- The home is equipped with an electrified bear fence on doors and windows in order to deter bears from entry.
- This is a 3-story home.
- Please note our occupancy includes an additional two beyond bed count. Trifold floor mattresses and additional linens can be provided upon request.
- Chambers Landing is not available for this house. The owner does not have a pass and is unable to obtain that pass.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.
