« The place is awesome. I loved the view of the slopes! And the whole feel is a ski cabin. The living room area was great with ample comfy seats and seats for eating at table and at island. Loved the (gas) fireplace. The kitchen was so well stocked with basics - from oil and vinegar, to coffee filters, to aluminum foil. Note that the amazing proximity to the mountain means being 15 minutes from groceries and restaurants. The one big note is that there's a cool spiral staircase to an awesome loft...

« We rented this lovely house for my daughter's college graduation. It was the perfect base for the weekend. As others have noted, the home is even better in person. The owners have thought of every detail. We loved having coffee on the peaceful screened porch.The shower is especially awesome and the beds are comfortable.We all were a little sad to leave. »

« My main complaint was the listing said basic soaps To me that should include shower soap- all other places I have stayed have as well as shampoos We arrived at the property at 10 pm and had to go out to the store to buy soap so we could all shower in the morning That was the major disappointment. « Nice property. It is a little isolated, in the middle of vast fields. No wifi or televisions, so be prepared for peaceful isolation. We struggled with tge flies and couldn't understand how they got inside. We bought some fly swatters and left tgem at the property for the next guest. Overall, it was a beautifully peaceful stay. »

« The property was clean and welcoming =) Loved the games and DVDs for our 5 year old to play/watch before bed. Having easy access to lake was amazing - fishing, roasting s'mores - just a relaxing time with family. Took a walk around the lake and just up the road was a nice playground our daughter had a blast on. Also just up the road - the "Cortland Repertory Theatre" looked really interesting. Next time I would look to see if they have anything going on while we were there. Highly recommend -...

"On the day of my arrival, the receptionist was rather reluctant to give me any information, being busier eating cream cakes and watching videos on his phone. Also, on my first night, groups of young people gathered in one room and partied until late, preventing me from sleeping the night before an important meeting. But above all, the area around the hotel is devoid of pleasant places to walk to for breakfast, and it was complicated to find where to have breakfast before going to my work meetings downtown. I really wish the hotel had a minimal breakfast service. That said, the hotel is clean, the bedding comfortable, and the other members of staff friendly enough. "
