This pair of stunning beach retreats have been exquisitely redesigned to create an unrivalled holiday setting for up to 30+2 guests in total.
Their elevated position over Borth Wen Bay provides stunning views across both the Irish Sea and Snowdonia, and the full height glazed elevations provide some of the most glorious views available on the island. Both homes have been dressed to provide a high level of comfort ensuring sociable living spaces to enjoy with family and friends.
The external character of the houses is complemented by contemporary interior design. Flooded by natural light, the open living areas are finished in warm natural textiles and patterns that provide a truly relaxing ambience.
Whilst the neighbouring homes of ‘CYG’ and ‘LYG’ enjoy their own individual privacy, together they offer the ideal destination for larger get-togethers, with ample indoor and outdoor entertaining space making ‘The Retreat’ the perfect location for your holiday with friends or family. In addition to two private hot tubs, the two homes include a shared tennis court to host your very own Anglesey Open! With Borth Wen Bay only a short stroll away from the houses, transporting the family beach equipment is of no concern. And for those afternoons and evenings, when you do not fancy cooking or even pouring your own drinks, the welcoming White Eagle pub is only yards away.

C Y G: (sleeps up to 18+2 guests) The first sister home of The Retreat is CYG. Overlooking Borth Wen Bay, and Snowdon, CYG is the perfect setting for your luxury retreat. CYG offers 8 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms to provide unrivalled comfort for up to 18+2 guests and is quite simply, beautiful. The home has been expertly renovated, and the redesigned layout places the living, kitchen diner and lounge spaces on the first floor to ensure breath taking views of the picturesque surroundings. The open plan kitchen and dining area flow seamlessly onto the dining and barbeque terrace ensuring some of the most beautiful views on the island.
The Home: Sleeping up to 18+2 guests, the accommodation is split over three levels with 6 ground floor bedrooms, two on the second floor and the living spaces on the first floor to make the most of the stunning surrounding views. On the first floor there are two separate lounges, usually one for younger guests and one for the more mature amongst you! The vaulted lounge off the kitchen dining room is adored by light and enjoys dual aspect views across the island. The sumptuous kitchen and dining room is filled with light from the full height windows wall that provides the picture-perfect backdrop to your family meals.
On the ground floor, 6 welcoming bedrooms await, with 5 en-suite bedrooms and a bunk bed den. The final two bedrooms are tucked away under the eaves on the second floor, providing incredible views across Borth Wen. All eight bathrooms have underfloor heating.
You can play tennis in your private court (shared LYB next door), hop in the hot tub, play ping pong, or simply start wonderful coastal walks from the front door. Get the buckets and spades and head down to swim, fish or sunbathe. Sandy Borth Wen beach is 10 minutes walk and The White Eagle just two minutes away.
All utilities, bed linen and towels are provided. Hot tub towels provided. Please note you will need to bring your own beach towels. Oil central heating throughout. Towel radiator and underfloor heating in all bathrooms.

LYB: (sleeps up to 14 guests) The second stunning home that forms ‘The Retreat’ is LYB. This too has been renovated immaculately, and again the layout has been redesigned to place the living, dinning and lounge spaces on the first floor to ensure breathing taking views of the spectacular surroundings. The upper floor and open plan kitchen and dining area flow seamlessly onto the dinning and barbeque terrace to provide some of the most beautiful views on the island. LYB offers six bedrooms and five bathrooms/ shower rooms provide deep comfort for up to 14 guests and is quite simply, stunning.
The Home: Sleeping up to 14 guests, the accommodation is split over two levels with 5ground floor bedrooms, two on the first floor and the living spaces on the first floor to make the most of the stunning surrounding views. On the first floor, there are two separate lounges, usually one for younger guests and one for the more mature amongst you! Two large bedrooms with glorious coastal views share a smart fitted bathroom. The living and dining areas have access to terrace areas that provide incredible relaxation and entertainment spaces. The sumptuous kitchen and dining room are filled with light from the full height glazed wall that provides the picture-perfect backdrop to your family meals.
On the ground floor, more welcoming bedrooms await. Three have patio doors opening onto the private terrace overlooking the garden. The main bedroom has a fairy-tale four-poster bed, squishy sofas and TV. The calming chalky washed colours and space will enchant you. Children will adore this home – there is a playroom dedicated to fun. In the summer the large doors swing open to create light-filled space for little ones. The bunk room is a delight, and TV and games can capture children on any rainy days.
