« This motel has the gall to charge for parking, and there was so little available that we had to park far-away. Wouldn’t be a huge deal except that I am handicapped. Plus, the bathroom was the size of an out house! The $25 for parking is not the issue, it’s the principle, especially given the lack thereof! »

« Friendly front desk, clean room, comfy bed, fair price. »

« Visited the area for a wedding and the quiet, calming environment was a perfect getaway from all of that stress. Prompt communication with management and friendly caretakers were helpful with any questions we had. »

« Our stay here was very pleasant. We did not want to leave. Our room and the large living room were very comfortable. There is no control of the AC but it was definitely cool. The pool was great to use on those hot days. They have paid attention to all the little details. This home is set in a quiet reseidential neighborhood. Walking distance to the lake. Perfect little get away. We will be coming back! »

Owner changed the code for the front door on the third day of my stay and didn't reply until the next day when I asked for the new code. I had to enter from the back door. The Master bed was very...

Karen is very responsive, so while I had an issue with the AC when I was there, Karen had it corrected as soon as she was able. The studio is convenient to restaurants, shops and is only about a half hour drive from the tourist areas. I enjoyed walking my dog down to Lakeside Park. Although the area has limited sidewalks, there is a street two...

« We've been to this property several times and the Host has always been very helpful and courteous. We've always had a pleasant experience and stay. This is an older house as described but suits us perfectly for our needs. We always look forward to a future visit to the Purple House. »
