Your family will be “Shorely Blessed” to stay in this stunning 5 bedroom 3.5 bathroom single-family home located on the canal streets in Surf City. Located just a short distance away from the beach as well as local shops and restaurants, your family will be able to enjoy all that Topsail Island has to offer.

As you first arrive you will be greeted by ample parking in the double driveway. There is even room for one car to park in the garage! Use your keyless access entry code on the carport door, or the door located on the first-floor deck, to come on in and get your vacation started. On the first floor of this reserve floor plan property, you will find 4 of the 5 bedrooms. The first bedroom, on the left side of the hall, offers a queen-sized bed and a Flat-Screen Smart TV. The 2nd bedroom offers a Pyramid Bunk Bed set, a Twin bed and a Flat Screen Smart TV. These bedrooms are connected by a Jack and Jill Bathroom that features double vanity sinks and a shower tub combo. Across the hall is the 3rd bedroom that features a Pyramid Bunk Bed set and Flat Screen Smart TV. The final bedroom on this floor offers a queen-sized bed and Flat Screen Smart TV. These bedrooms are also attached by a Jack and Jill Bathroom that features double vanity sinks and a shower tub combo. Conveniently located in the hall on this level guests will find the full-sized washer and dryer tucked away behind the double closet doors.

Head upstairs where you will find the main living area as well as the final bedroom and bathrooms. The open floor plan invites you to enjoy the stunning views of the intercoastal waterway, and the Surf City canals. This quiet community welcomes its vacation renting families year after year and hopes to add you and your family to the list! The large living room will be the perfect gathering place for your group to get together after a long day on the beach. Kick back and enjoy your favorite shows and movies on the Large Flat Screen Smart TV. This TV is also connected to basic cable so you can keep up with local news and sports. The impressive Kitchen offers all of your basic cooking needs, along with stainless steel appliances and a walk-in pantry for easy food storage. When you have whipped up a fantastic meal for the family you can all come together to enjoy the feast in the dining room. There are 5 chairs and a bench for seating at the table, as well as 4 stools at the kitchen bar. From the living area, you have access to the covered porch where you can sit back and enjoy Island life. Enjoy peek-a-boo ocean views as well as Island and Sound views without ever leaving the house.

On the backside of the property, you will find a fenced-in backyard, as well as an enclosed hot & cold outdoor shower. With an access door into the garage right next to it, you can wash away the sand before coming inside to relax for the rest of the day. Guests will have access to the garage for storing their beach gear or hanging out on bad weather days. The nearest beach access is located approximately 2 blocks away at the corner of 7th Street and North Shore Drive. Hurricane Debbie didn’t cooperate and decided to hang around all week. We made the best of it. The property was alright. Just know you have to pay for parking even if you rent club cars. That should be part of the deal either with the house or the club car company.

We had a great time. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We opted to bring our own linens, towels etc I would encourage your listing to state that there are 2 full set of steps and no elevator. Also, during the busy summer months there is no water pressure on the top floor. Pamela was excellent in getting ONWASA out to check the pressure. The gentleman stated that this is normal for the island. There was really nothing that could be done about this. Overall it is a beautiful home with plenty of room. The top deck is the best place to watch fireworks. We spent a lot of family time there. Neighbors were very friendly. The walk to the beach was short and easy

The layout of the home allowed our group of 9 to have a little privacy when wanted and join together as a group for meals, relaxing, and games. The upper deck was a lovely spot with plenty of furniture, and with a little glimpse of the ocean and of the intercoastal inlets in the neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked (except no coffee grinder - luckily, we brought a hand-cranked grinder with us) and roomy enough for us to cook together. To get to the beach, we had to walk a couple blocks, cross the highway, and then walk along a couple "blocks" of sandy path. We managed to carry our beach supplies just fine, but people with young children might have more difficulty trying to cross the busy road. Some people in the neighborhood used golf carts to get to the beach access; there is a fee for parking cars and golf carts at the beach access points. We walked to the town center a couple times, a little over 2 miles each way. You can walk along the beach to town, or along the highway. The highway walk would not be recommended for those with young children, as there are portions of the walk with no sidewalk and very little road shoulder. We walked several times to a nearby convenience store, which was maybe a 6 block walk through the neighborhood, with glimpses of intercoastal inlets and beautiful homes along the way. We recommend getting up early enough to watch the sunrise on the beach. Beautiful! The outdoor shower was wonderful, and we also appreciated the charcoal grill.

The house was beautiful and well appointed. Access to the beach was great! There was still some trash in the kitchen trash can and recycling and under one of the beds. Overall, a wonder stay for the whole family

This is a nice home but when we arrived it was very obvious to everyone in our group that the home had not been cleaned. We received numerous messages prior to our vacation saying that we could not come to the property before 4:00 pm so we arrived for check in around 5:30 pm. While unpacking we noticed sand everywhere, hairs in the bathrooms, dirty toilets and tubs, baseboards were nasty. Not clean. Very disappointing especially since we were tired from traveling but had to begin our vacation by cleaning ourselves. After contacting management they did offer to send a cleaning crew but at that point we did not want the further inconvenience of having to leave and come back hours later. Home was nice but really needs a deep cleaning.
