Hocking Hilltop sits alone at the top of a private hill with no immediate neighbors — just you, the treeline, and the kind of quiet that's genuinely hard to find. You're 20–25 minutes from Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave, and Cedar Falls — some of the best hiking in the Midwest. For coffee before the trails, Smoke-N-Beans in McArthur is our go-to. For dinner, Mama Renie's Pizza is a local favorite. Hocking Hills Canopy Tours runs one of the best zip line experiences in the state if you want more adventure.

You'll have access to the entire house. A few areas are locked for storage — the owner's closet off the primary bedroom, the attic access in the loft, and a shed near the driveway. Please leave these as you find them. Parking on site for 4 vehicles. One important heads up: the driveway is steep and partially unpaved — an AWD or 4WD vehicle is strongly recommended. If it's your first visit, tackle the driveway in daylight. The climb is worth it.

Bedroom 1 (Main Floor): A king and queen bed under an arched window framing the treeline. Blackout curtains and sheers give you full control over how much morning light you let in. Leather benches, layered rugs, and warm lighting throughout.
Bedroom 2 (Upstairs): Tucked under a soaring timber frame ceiling, this room features a king and a queen bed with leather benches at the foot of each. Floral rugs and soft lighting make it one of the most photographed rooms in the house.
Both bedrooms include a hanging closet, dresser, and power outlets at every nightstand.

Primary Bath: This is the bathroom you didn't know you needed. A clawfoot soaking tub sits beneath an arched window with the treeline outside, a walk-in shower, an electric fireplace, and extra counter space so everyone has room. Stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
Second Bath: Clean, functional, and fully stocked with everything you need. Shower, all essentials included.

Up the stairs you'll find the loft — a separate hangout space with an air hockey table, board games in the sideboard, dueling couches, and elk wallpaper that somehow makes perfect sense. A private 4WD/AWD vehicle is best for accessing the property.

This is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted indoors or on the property.
No pets allowed.

Quiet hours are observed between 11pm and 8am out of respect for the natural surroundings.

The property is equipped with exterior security cameras monitoring outdoor areas only-driveway and dining room/kitchen door access points only. Your privacy indoors is fully respected.

Parking is available on site for up to 4 vehicles.
