Group accommodation
We were a group of 8 adults staying for 3 nights and the house worked well for us. The views from the house across the harbour are stunning.
The additional downstairs lounge was a bonus and there was plenty of space. The house was clean and well appointed and the beds were comfortable apart from not having standard pillows (only square pillows were provided which everyone complained about).
The master bedroom /ensuite is spacious, but unfortunately the pillows had long black hairs on them.
Kitchen: For a group our size we found that the kitchen was not well equipped. There was only one very large cooking pot, no flat oven trays, no roasting dishes, minimal cooking utensils -which made self catering very challenging and frustrating. There were also no serving platters or bowls (for cheese/chips etc), and the bare minimal number of cutlery/plates. We had to wash dishes as we used them but unfortunately there was no dish draining tray to aid with this and only 2 tea towels provided. If a smaller number of people were staying, the kitchen equipment might have been just sufficient.
Bathrooms: good size and nice and clean but the hair conditioner supplied in the master ensuite had been watered down which was disappointing. One hand towel in one of the bathrooms and one bath towel per person.
On the whole it was a nice place to stay but just needed some additional consideration to provide for 8 guests and to provide enough kitchen equipment to allow for self catering.
