The apartment has private access to a huge sunny deck which is furnished with comfy bean bags and an outdoor setting. Enjoy the open-plan living area with a kitchen equipped for self-catering. Comfortably sleeping two guests and enjoying an easy 15-20 minute walk through historic Battery Point village and into the Hobart CBD or waterfront.
The Space:
This charming apartment is perfect for 2 guests. The master bedroom is furnished with a comfortable queen bed in addition to a daybed providing a cozy space for additional relaxation.
The living area is compact but welcoming, and the kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. Just a short stroll away from Hampden Road you will find the beloved Jackman & McRoss bakery and a variety of dining options, including the ever-popular Da Angelos for Italian cuisine.
Recently renovated, the apartment has been thoughtfully furnished to ensure a relaxing and comfortable stay. Guests can enjoy access to a smart TV and Wi-Fi.
Nestled in the historic village of Battery Point, the location offers easy access to Hobart's CBD, the vibrant Salamanca precinct, and Sandy Bay’s shopping area which is filled with restaurants, supermarkets, cafes, and shops. For a scenic walk, Marieville Esplanade at the end of the road provides a lovely riverside stroll along the Derwent River.
Please note that while there is no off-street parking, street parking is usually available right in front of the house. There is a separate apartment upstairs with its own private entrance, ensuring privacy for both apartments. Although the upstairs apartment overlooks the backyard, this does not impact the privacy of guests staying downstairs (please consider whether this may cause issues for you before booking).
The outdoor deck and backyard are exclusively available for guests in the downstairs apartment, providing a private space to unwind.
