They confirmed our booking, then half hour after check in time, I got a Whatsapp message saying they had an error with bookings and couldnt honor my booking. I had booked a Premier Suite, 2 Bedrooms, Club Lounge Access, City View.
This included a free welcome drink, 1 free tour per stay, Free full breakfast for 4 (once per stay) and free round-trip airport transfer for 4 (on request).
The photographs and inclusions of the room were beautiful and perfect for a family of 3 adults and 2 kids for our last night in Vietnam.
When i got the message, i was devastated as i had minimal time to find a new hotel. The person mesaging me on Whatsapp said they could change our reservation to a different property. Claimed to give us a free upgrade to a 3 bedroom apartment. The room was at Botanica Premier (block C).
When we arrived it was early evening (dark) and our children were tired. We were greeted at reception after sending message to say we had arrived. We were shown our room and given the key.
The room itself was old. It had no hand soap, no cutlery, no cooking amenities, it had facemasks over something on the roof, the towels smelt musky. There was tape over the switch in a bedroom. The cupboards in the room were loose and wouldnt close. The walls were filthy. The sink was filthy.
When questioned, all we got told was we got 3 beds and a sofa bed and free drinking water.
Firstly it wasnt 3 bedrooms, it was 2 with a bed in the living area next to the sofa bed bed.
