« The lodge was superb, it was clean and cosy. The owners were great and provided extra logs for the fire when we ran out from the cold and wet February weather. The fire kept us lovely and cosy all week. Everything worked well and were very flexible for a later than planned arrival and the directions were helpful to come off at a later junction due to the narrower roads. All in all a fantastic lodge and will be booking again with friends. »

« The host, Chris, was so kind to pick me up from the bus station when I was unable to get a taxi, especially since it was raining. I had a problem with the TV as well as a leaking shower, but Chris fixed them both. The bed was clean and comfortable, as was the room. « Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x »
