« Comfortable room with excellent tea making supplies - and a good sized mug each! The floor fan was useful as it was very warm. The hotel kindly allowed a later check out with a prompt and polite response to our request. Check in was efficient and simple. The evening meal was superb - great value and the pavlova! Wow! Chef’s kiss! All in all - a beautiful historic building and a really enjoyable stay. We will return I am sure. »

« Over the last few years all my family have enjoyed visiting the Hatfield Hotel as the downstairs restaurant is lovely and the staff are always very welcoming. This is the first time I stayed for a few days and not only is it great value, the sea view and the sound of the waves coming in are exceptionally calming … it’s right on the beach so we saw the first light dawn in the most easterly place in the UK. It’s a treat. »

« This is not a conventional hotel but rather a guest house with a fascinating history and purpose. It is run as a charity with a worthwhile purpose and deserves business but just know what you are getting. No question I would go back. Seafront view marvelous. »
