Home Truths: - This home allows up to 2 pets for a fee; undisclosed pets brought without AvantStay’s approval may result in a $500 fine per pet. - Rideshare and taxi service is extremely hard to arrange last minute. Please try your best to schedule these services in advance if they are needed. - No community pool access. - The Sea Pines Beach club is 1.4 miles away. There is no guest parking. - No Live TV, only apps guests will have to sign into to stream TV. - Amenity Access: The pool and tennis/pickleball courts now require a new access card. Old cards no longer work. Guests must use a guest card when the owner is not present. New cards are distributed locally by the owner or property manager.
Parking Details: 3 cars can park in the driveway and additional parking is available in the Sea Pines Community overflow lots Please note there is a cash-only, HOA rental fee per vehicle to access this neighborhood: $9/day, or $22/week for (Easter - Labor Day) and $20/week (Labor Day - Easter). Rental passes must be purchased upon arrival.
This home comes with a pack n' play travel crib available. A high chair can be provided upon request with at least 24hrs advanced notice. Just ask and we are happy to accommodate you and your little ones!

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.
As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.

The house was just as it appeared on the website. Everything was clean and the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and plating. Plenty of places for everyone to sit large tables for dining. One of few places I've stayed where it truly matched the pictures on the website

The house was in a great location central to the beach, harbor town and south beach. Three bedrooms were very spacious while the 4th overlooking the common area in the first floor was much smaller. Advertised accurately via VRBO and the contacts got back to us quickly about all questions asked before and during our stay.

We had a lovely peaceful week in the Sea Pines. The house is set back surrounded by woods. The living room couches could use a good cleaning from wear and tear but the rest of the house was immaculate. All the cooking utensils needed to cook a few great meals to enjoy on the deck. We thoroughly had a wonderful time and would love to stay again.

Great Place for an Adult Golf Trip
This was a great property for a golf trip for adults. Right in between the beach club and Barbour town. House was clean, up to date, and with too much extra that we wouldn’t have used. We’d use it again.

Sea Pines - A Great Get Away
The home was clean, spacious and nestled on a quiet cul de sac in the private community of Sea Pines. We only had one day of rain but the rest of the days were sunny and warm. The check in process was smooth and communication was spot on! I would recommend this home for families or friends anytime.

Great house
This was a very clean house that is in excellent condition. It is also very well equipped from the kitchen to the bedrooms and bathrooms. THere is no yard, but the deck is very large , well organized and very comfortable. The location is very central in Sea Pines close to the mall which is only about 6 minute walk when taking a short path through light woods.Perhaps the only negative was the AvantStay wifi access which kept disconnectiong. But a quick call to the AvantStay support provided a wifi password that worked fine.All in all, firmly recommended.

Wonderful
I’ll start off by saying that this rental was exceptional. It was located in a great community with lots to offer. The amenities and layout of the house was perfect for our group of 9 ladies. There were some issues that had to be resolved and the management staff was able to address the issues with the doors not locking properly in a pretty timely manner. I highly recommend this place for families and small groups.

Birthday celebration with friends
Golf weekend with friends to celebrate my husband’s 60th. The house was beautiful and well stocked. We especially enjoyed the pool table and deck area. When the firepit wouldn’t start they sent someone to fix it promptly and followed up that we were satisfied with service. Excellent central location in Sea Pines. We can’t wait to go back! Nice house and great location in Sea Pines
The house is accurately described in the photos and reviews. Very clean, kitchen well stocked with cooking items, great wet bar with an ice machine that makes ice non-stop, and comfortable beds. Beds are platform beds which explains “low bed” complaints, but they are comfortable. Bathrooms are all new and well done. Four couples can stay here comfortably. Easy walk to beach and Sea Pines shopping center that has a restaurant, spa, and other stores. Only complaint is trash was not picked up. We let the property managers know and they responded, but still not picked up. I think this is an overall island issue.

Overall stay
Overall, our stay was enjoyable, but I had a couple of concerns. The beds throughout the house, except for the one in the master bedroom, were quite low, which made it difficult for my group, especially for the three older ladies with us, aged 67 to 84, to get in and out comfortably.
Additionally, the sofa nearest to the kitchen seemed to have some issues. I sat on it twice and experienced multiple bites all over my body, even when I put a blanket over it one night. My mother, who also sat on that sofa, experienced the same issue, and it took nearly two weeks for the bites to heal. This was quite uncomfortable for us both.
On a positive note, the house was very clean and conveniently located, and the communication was excellent with quick responses and helpful recommendations. Thank you for hosting us!

Family Vacation
Communication around this stay was very thorough. We didn’t have any issues during our stay and everything in the house worked well. The house was very spacious for our family. There are 4 separate bedrooms which allowed a space for everyone. There are also four separate showers and bathrooms. A family of six could stay very comfortably. The family room couches have a little wear on them, but everything else was well appointed. There is a separate en-suite bedroom in a loft which was great for our teenager. I could see this space getting a little warm in the summer but was ideal for us. There is no garage in case you are wanting to park a car inside or store bikes. There is no grass in the yard if you have a pet that prefers a nice place to go outside but there are plenty of close locations to walk to. The location is nicely centrally located in Seapines. Midway between the front entrance and the South side and very close to the Beach Club and Harbour Town. The neighborhood was and feels very safe and is really quiet and relaxed. Would definitely stay here again.

Not As Advertised and Not Worth It.
There is a difference between a vacation house and a rental property. This is absolutely a “rental property.” The photos are deceptive. The furniture, decor, and staging are not reflective of what you get when you arrive. And, the grounds are unkept - loose trash throughout the front and back yard. The grill had never been cleaned (& propane tanks were empty) and upon arrival we had to clean dirty sheet pans, multiple dirty dishes and glasses, and a myriad of dirty cutlery. There was dog hair all over the sofas and pillows - all of which, need to be replaced and upgraded. And lastly, the sheets in two of the rooms, including the master, were stained. The design of the house, the bathrooms, and the number of bedrooms was a positive. However, all of the furniture appeared as if it came from a college dorm room - cheap and uncomfortable. Lighting in each room is limited and there are no dressers in any of the rooms. Again, what you see in the photos is NOT accurate! And, finally the house comes with a coffee maker (5 cup) made for a party of 2 - not for a 4 bedroom house. Once discovered, I reached out twice to AvantStay customer service via their app and didn’t receive a call back until the Thursday after our departure. I then called (Cody) back and left a message and have never heard back. If you are looking for a clean vacation home with modern amenities and the comforts you expect from a home in Sea Pines, then do NOT book this property. It was disappointing.

Beautiful property and great Avant Stay experience
Everything about this house was great! The property itself was beautiful. Updated, modern, clean and well appointed for all aspects of our trip. The Avant- Stay experience exceeded my expectations. Super responsive and helpful throughout the booking process. They maintained frequent communication and check ins that were not excessive but just right. Very nice welcome gifts awaited us upon our arrival. I will definitely seek out Avant Stay properties on our next trip!

Need to supply enough bikes or give notice to potential leasers so that they can rent ahead of trip..we were 2 bikes short so we couldn't bike as a group. Spare bedroom bed too low and not very comfortable. Everything else was beautiful and perfect for our stay

Quiet neighborhood in Sea Pines, close to beautiful trails. Communication and assistance from host was perfect. Very clean. Grill was clean and a nice touch. We used it daily. Good bedding. Just all around peaceful and calm.
