  • Cette belle location de vacances Hilton Head Island est à dix minutes à pied de la plage. Il dispose d'un aménagement ouvert avec deux suites parentales et une piscine privée. Lorsque vous entrez dans la porte d'entrée, vous êtes accueilli par un plan d'étage ouvert qui se compose d'une grande salle à manger, d'un salon et d'une cuisine récemment mise à jour. Le grand dessus de bar offre des sièges supplémentaires pour que tout le monde puisse se réunir dans la cuisine tout en dégustant un repas fait maison, avec une salle à manger adjacente pouvant accueillir huit personnes. Une suite principale a un lit king, une télévision à écran plat et une salle de bain privée qui a une grande baignoire de jardin à jets et douche autonome donnant sur la piscine nouvellement aménagée. Une autre suite principale offre un lit King, un canapé-lit queen, une télévision à écran plat et une salle de bain privée. La troisième chambre a un lit queen, TV et une salle de bain privée. The comfortable open plan living room / kitchen / dining room set-up made for very comfortable socializing, and a great place to hang out even when the weather was rainy. The bedrooms were spread out and spacious. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant, and the walk to the beach really is only 10 minutes crossing a bridge over the lagoon. In general the kitchen was well-equipped for us to cook a Thanksgiving meal, with a few very minor lapses (some starter filters for the coffee machine would be nice). The house was clean and well cared for. Since it was November, we didn't swim, but it seemed like the small backyard pool would be a great little respite in warmer weather. All in all, a great place for a family stay!

Reviewer Comments: We arrived right at 4:00 to get our keys and they said 6 flags Dr would not be ready for 2 more hours!! Note you have to be out by 10 am. The fridge was the biggest problem and we called when we arrived for it to be replaced they came and looked at it but never did anything about it. Broken toilet seats no bedding for pull out couch....

not a great vacation - had to deal with mice and poop

We had to deal with a mouse problem for most of our week long visit. Mice in the kitchen, den, eating area, and outside the three bedroom doors upstairs. Exterminator was there daily to empty traps. Housekeeping called in several times to reclean. On a positive note - the ladies at the PD front desk were very helpful and kept me informed as remediation was underway. The exterminator was top notch as was housekeeping. The Revenue Manager, Brandi Darbonnier, was understanding as well. Mice could happen to any guest at any time. PD handed the situation well, and yes we will rent from PD again, but not this particular property !

Great house and location

I was a little concerned prior to our trip because of 2 recent reviews about the cleanliness of the property and I didn't get a response when I messaged the owner about that concern. That being said, the house was great and we loved the location. It does show some wear and tear (hey its a rental), but it is a lovely home, close to the beach, and it met our expectations for cleanliness. We will definitely consider staying there again.

Looks Can Be Deceiving :(

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at 6 Flagg Drive 7/17/21-7/24/21 and had immediate issues with the overall cleanliness of the home. The floors were filthy which turned the bottoms of our feet black including the knees and hands of our infant Grandson who is crawling. The living room couches had many, disgusting stains on their cushions. Upon arrival the house had numerous houseflies, flying throughout the house. The mosquito problem in the backyard made the pool virtually unusable. The condition of the pool would be considered dirty at best. We had a blocked drain in a bathroom which was fixed by maintenance after we put in a call for service. The first-floor bathroom showerhead dripped our entire stay, On our last day, we discovered a large mouse living in the kitchen. Overall a REALLY poorly maintained home considering the premium price we paid for our stay. Very disappointed.

2021 Family Vacation

First I want to mentioned that we (family) have been going to Hilton Head Island for the last 20 years. This is the third year in a row that we have rented a house. All three were in Palmetto Dunes, just a block from each other. I would say this home had a few more cons then the homes the prior two years. The AC units were great so we were very comfortable. The property in our view is just a bit run down, could use some sprucing up. Also some updating of mattresses, pillows, etc. We are not looking for a rental home to be a 5 star hotel but compared to the last two homes we rented this one ranks a bit lower than those two.

This property was dirty and worn. The floors were filthy and the carpets were dirty, stained and not vacuumed very well. The walls were dirty. We spent the first day cleaning and it still was worn. Has great potential but not a very nice vacation house. The couches were filthy as well with stains. We used towels to sit on the furniture.. The outside also had mold on the railings , steps. Not fun to spend our vacation cleaning before we can even start to relax. Very very disappointing.

Nice house, not clean.

The house itself was very nice, roomy and nicely furnished and overall we enjoyed our stay. The problem was the house was not cleaned well before we arrived. The stove was dirty, there was mold in master shower, and only vacuuming that had occurred was where it was easy to reach. The pool area was clean when we arrived but with the many trees surrounding it that it quickly became dirty and was unusable but last 2 days as it was turning green.
