159 Mooring Buoy is a magnificent 5 bedroom, 4 and a half bath home, located on the beautiful 11 mile lagoon system, in the world-famous Palmetto Dunes Resort. The large backyard filled with trees and lush tropical landscaping, along with a stunning swimming pool and hot tub, offers a serene setting. This very attractive property is just a 3 minute walk to the beach on a beach path near the front driveway. 159 Mooring Buoy is a stylish home with many upgrades, allowing for a comfortable stay for you and your extended family and can accommodate 14 guests. Even the Southern-style entrance with two staircases leading up to a porch that has a couple bench seats will make you feel like you’re on a beach vacation.
The spacious, open, main living area has dark wood floors throughout, while the bedrooms are all carpeted. The living room has simple and elegant coastal themes throughout with soft hues of tan and light blue that complement the sand and sea just beyond your rental home. The two large couches and two additional chairs offer plenty of space for everyone to sit and watch a movie on the 65” mounted flat screened TV or play some board games after the sun has set. Adjacent to the living room is the inviting kitchen, with a circular layout, an island for additional counter space and a wraparound bar with six leather bar chairs to sit and enjoy a glass of wine before dinner. The kitchen comes fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, a Bosch 800 dishwasher, a Samsung refrigerator, 5-burner gas stove, beautiful granite counters and wood paneled cabinets. A formal dining room with ten high-backed rattan chairs with cushions are around the rectangle shaped table. The soft blue walls and a view of the lagoon, trees, and pool will delight guests.
To the right of the front door is a guest room with a queen bed that has a dark wood headboard and footboard, with matching dresser. A 32” TV is mounted for your convenience. The private bath has a granite counter and a large shower only with travertine walls. To the left of the entrance is the laundry room with full size washer and dryer and a sink. There is a ½ bath in the hallway. The master bedroom, to the left of the living room, has a king bed with antique white headboard and footboard, along with matching furniture. Two chairs and a coffee table are perfect for some light reading or enjoying a coffee in the morning. With so many windows, there is lots of bright sunlight streaming in. However, you can close the blinds and drapes and choose to sleep in on your vacation! A 32” TV is mounted on the wall. The exquisite master bathroom features a double vanity, a center seat to sit and do your make-up, a walk-in closet, and a large shower. There is a separate tub, a great option for taking a rejuvenating soak after a long day at the beach and playing in the sun.
Upstairs there is an upscale den with wood floors, 65” TV, queen sized sleeper sofa, 2 chairs, a writing desk, and a wet bar with mini fridge. Each window has a cushioned window seat for relaxing with a good book. There are 3 more guest rooms as well. The king bed, with rattan headboard and footboard, has a carpeted floor, velour chair, walk-in closet, and a 32” flat-screen TV. The charming room overlooks the lagoon and pool. The private bath has 2 granite sinks, travertine flooring, and a shower only with a bench. The last two bedrooms share a combination tub/shower bath, with travertine floors, 2 granite sinks, doors to each room, and privacy doors between the sinks. The 2 queen beds have white headboards and footboards, light blue walls, view of the lagoon and pool, and a 32” TV. The 2 twin beds have tan and white print comforters, white headboard and footboards, Robin’s egg blue walls, and a 32” TV.
159 Mooring Buoy boasts several entertaining areas. The covered deck upstairs overlooks the pool and lagoon and is a wonderful place to read a book, eat some lunch, or have conversations with family. Four wicker chairs with thick cushions and pillows, beneath a ceiling fan, are great for relaxing. Downstairs is a covered patio, with a built-in Bull Lonestar grill, small refrigerator, and wet bar with a granite sink. A comfortable outdoor dining set with seating for eight is excellent for a great dinner outside. Enjoy the 40” flat screened TV, while staying cool under the ceiling fan. Jump into the pool to stay refreshed or heat the spa because you deserve a break!
