Good breakfast and lovely views

Farmhouse type stay. Accommodation was clean. Somewhat old fashioned. Hosts were friendly, offered us tea on arrival. Ideal for one night passing through. Stunning views. Were very accommodating letting our dog stay too. The breakfast was excellent. This place is definitely not for those who like glamour but suited our purposes adequately.

Cozy fabulous B and B

Staying here was a bit like staying with a friend, we felt very welcome as a guest in someone's home, rather than an impersonal hotel.

Beautiful veiws of the peaks

Had a lovely time. The hosts were helpful and very informative. Excellent breakfast fresh eggs from their own chickens. Lovely veiws just overall excellent service and value for money. Really enjoyed iyt would definitely return

Lovely building in a stunning country setting.

I was made to feel so welcome. A real home from home. The B&B is in a truly beautiful location with amazing views. I was even taken for an off road run by the owner before breakfast. Now that is extra special service.

Great weekend in a wonderful location

I've stayed for 2 nights with my family while doing the local fell races and had a very nice weekend. The B&B has a great views of the local area. The hosts were wonderful and looked after us well, they made suggestions where to go (New Mills park which had a great play area) and where to eat. We exchanged stories about local area, fell races and the 2014 Grand Depart of Tour de France. Our 2 1/2 year old daughter had a fab time seeing the farm animals (horses, hens, duck) and playing with & talking to the owner's pets (cat & dog). Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

Tranquil rustic beautifully positioned b and b.

Enjoyable. Host is warm and welcoming. Breakfast is very tasty. Delightful spot with lovely views. Ideal for walkers and cyclists. Local pubs have good food and beer.

A warm welcome on a snowy day

Imagine a sleeting December couple of days, with a glowing log fire in the guest lounge to return to, and plenty of warm drinks whilst tucked up on the sofa - lovely and restful.

Great location

Well situated: 30-40mn from Manchester, walks very close, quiet. Really nice. Just one thing: Hard to find it. We had to ask people in the village to show us where the cottage was, and they needed to check in their Sat Nav. There is no sign, and the path to go to the house is bumpy. You need to have a high car not to damage its bottom.

bower house bed and breakfast

bower house was comfortable but cleanliness was not the best, breakfast was ok though I have had a lot better. sharing the bathroom with three other rooms was not liked by my wife. The road (track) up to the house was terrible a 4 x 4 would find it hard.

車でないと

なだらかな丘の頂上にあって見晴らし最高で部屋も清潔。テレビはないので静かに過ごすにはもってこいのロケーション。ただ部屋にシャワーや洗面台はなく共用になります。その分バスタブのある大きな部屋。それと歩いては行けないところなのでレンタカーなど借りて車でないと行くのは無理。場所もわかりにくいので下調べはちゃんとしないと迷う。そこらをクリアーできるのならフレンドリーは女性とワンとニャンと鶏が迎えてくれます。
