Sleeping four in comfort (with room for six if you use the lounge), the layout is versatile enough for couples, friends, or families. There’s a contemporary double bedroom with its own en-suite featuring a full bath, a separate bathroom with a shower, and a welcoming twin room. Two dogs are also welcome, so no member of the family has to miss out on the adventure.

Step off the deck and you’re just minutes from Hexham’s handsome market town, where you can admire the Abbey, browse independent shops, or wander the riverside paths at Tyne Green. Corbridge, with its Roman heritage, galleries, and friendly cafés, is another local highlight, while world-famous Hadrian’s Wall landmarks such as Vindolanda and Housesteads bring history vividly to life on a memorable day out.

For lovers of the outdoors, this corner of Northumberland is full of variety. The North Pennines Area of Natural Beauty tempts walkers with big-sky moorland hikes and rewards stargazers with some of the darkest skies in the UK. Families can head to Slaley Forest for woodland trails, while water enthusiasts will enjoy paddleboarding, sailing, and picnicking at nearby Derwent Reservoir.
