Waterfront Country Estate & Blueberry Farm-Mini Resort-Stunning Sunsets

Escape to the perfect blend of comfort & relaxation at our private 20-acre waterfront estate on Albemarle Sound. The 4-bed house & 2-bed guesthouse boast gourmet kitchens, a game room, & outdoor entertainment area, creating a laid-back mini-resort for your getaway. Revel in stunning sunsets on our porches while enjoying the gentle breezes from the Sound. Bike, fish, kayak, play games, pick blueberries, or simply unwind. Explore small towns & OBX, splash at H2OBX waterpark, or enjoy a round of golf nearby.

The space
Only 20 minutes from Elizabeth City, an hour from Norfolk/Virginia Beach, and 2.5 hours from Raleigh. Our country waterfront estate is the perfect place for a micro-wedding*, elopement, work retreat, family reunion or to just relax and getaway.
We created a mini-resort with several outdoor amenities including:
~ new 2024 4-seater golf cart
~ lawn games
~ paddle board
~ kayaks
~huge Lilly Pad
~ basic fishing gear
~ bikes
~ yoga mats
~ ping pong table
~ outdoor kitchen
~ and a big ‘ol’ bonfire.
We also have a pool room with an 8 ft. pool table and a game room filled with air hockey, pinball, arcade machine, foosball, and darts!

The rental includes both the main house (4 bed/2.5 bath) and guesthouse (2 bed/ 2 full bath) for maximum privacy and exclusivity to the 20 acre property. The guesthouse is about 50 yards away from the main house, so we provide a golf cart to use.
On the water is a large event area with a screened-in gazebo, a beautiful pergola, and large deck, along with a dock.

We are dog friendly with a dog fee. We have a dog station which includes a wash area with shampoo and towels.

If you book between end of May-mid August, you are welcome to pick blueberries in our wild 3 acre blueberry field!

THE WATERFRONT HOUSE:

~Gourmet kitchen with bar seating for 6 connects with another sitting area and the dining room with a table for 8.
~A back porch with double sliding glass doors will reveal the gorgeous views of the water. On the porch you’ll find ample seating, including a beautiful wood dining table for 6, a glider, and couch area for conversation.
~The great room, located on the top floor has a pool table, a large comfy sectional couch and a 65” smart TV. Double sliding glass doors lead to a covered porch where you can enjoy amazing views of the water and sunsets.

Top Floor:
2 Bedrooms with queen beds
1 bedroom with 2 twin beds (technically a sleeping porch which is attached to the other 2 bedrooms). It’s a great setup for a family with kids.

1 floor gel mattress (if needed)
1 bathroom with a beautiful clawfoot tub
1 walk-in spa shower bathroom (located in game room)

Large deck with sitting area and gas fire pit that overlooks the orchard and bonfire area
Writer’s nook with a small desk in the lookout tower
Game room filled with arcade game table, air hockey, pinball, foosball, and darts.
Guest access
This estate is a hidden rural gem and is a very private and secluded property with one close neighbor. You’ll have full access to the 20 acre property. You’re welcome to walk the grounds and explore while being aware of our neighbors.
Other things to note
We have a 3 acre blueberry field. The blueberries bloom from late May to mid August. There may be people picking from morning to early afternoon during this time. If you stay with us, we will offer a complimentary buckets to pick!
