« Cabin was very clean. There was a basket of treats welcoming us when we entered the cabin, very thoughtful by the host. Cabin was nice and cool although it was quite hot outside-in the 90's. Beds were comfortable, our daughter enjoyed the loft. I liked the early mornings sitting on the back porch drinking my coffee, the back porch even has ceiling fans to keep one cool. « San Damiano was a very nice retreat. We could tell the staff does everything possible to be responsive and ensure a good stay. The room was very clean, comfortable beds and pillows and just the right size. The fridge, microwave and stove are all new and we had all the utensils we needed. Good fireplace. « A beautiful couple's retreat in the woods. Very private with all the amenities. I was impressed with how nice the place was and the hot tub was perfect. I will definitely be coming back again in the future. A perfect place for an Anniversary. »

« Property was misrepresented. Was supposed to be 2 bedroom 2 bath handicapped accessible with ramp. They assigned us a one room 2 bed no ramp not handicapped accessible. We called after arrival then the host did not respond to 2 phone calls and a text message. When they finally got back to us they said they were sorry they assigned the wrong cabin to us. I asked for full refund called VRBO and asked for help with this. Now Verbo wants us to fight for our refund instead of just taking care of it. »

« If you’re looking for peace and quiet you found it. I sat out on the porch and just looked at the pond. Turned off the cell relaxed and enjoyed the view. The host was very accommodating. The home look just like the pictures and when I arrived the air conditioning was going which was great when your from California and not used to the hot sticky summers in Southern Illinois. »
