« Quiet and clean »

« Proximity to the train station is quite nice and the staff were very friendly. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this hotel because the room itself was not well maintained. There was black mould growing in the shower because it wasn’t properly sealed. I also couldn’t find a pillow that was very comfortable. « Hôtel tout à fait correct situé près de la gare, dans un quartier calme avec un bon pub et un bon café à proximité. J'ai pu visiter la ville à pied sans problème. Seul bémol : l'oreiller pas terrible, car tout plat. »

« Charming hotel but there was no heating in the bathroom which was very cold (10 C). You can feel the freezing cold through the windows and walls. »

« Le lieu est absolument magnifique, la propriété, le parc, les arbres. En revanche les lieux de restauration ont clairement besoin d'un manager. Malgré le nombre conséquent de personnel, le petit déjeuner n'était pas régulièrement fourni. Les employés sont cachés à droite à gauche, occupés à plier des serviettes en discutant ou en consommant des bouteilles cachées dans les placards... « Room and bathroom newley renovated with lovely linens and fluffy towels provided. It had an ensuite, tea/coffee and kettle, a small fridge, TV, Wi-Fi, table and wardrobe. If you are a light sleeper you might struggle as there was a noise that went off frequently during the night (perhaps related to pub refridgeration or building heating?). Also the roman blinds needed to be put down in the bathroom to use the toilet due to it overlooking the parking space. Otherwise lovely stay and good value...

« Received the room i requested, spotless, tea & cofee, milk & water available. Staff very friendly. Vegetarian roasts the best we ever had. Breakfast wonderful. »

« Really great, absolutely spotless room. Lovely shower. As some of the other reviews suggest, it could do with some hooks for coats and bath towels, and maybe a shelf for toiletries in the shower. »
