« Helena had received a foot or more of snow on October 26th. I arrived a week later. The concrete steps, sidewalk and parking lot were snow packed and icy with no signs of shoveling or ice melt. The bottom of the shower curtain was orange and crusty. There was orange mildew stains between the shower pan and walls. « Property smelled of either gasoline or diesel. But it was perfectly and uniquely decorated and was otherwise very clean. This property and location was not suited for the needs of my trip, but it was NOT the fault of the owners. I simply didn’t realize how far away it was from where we were headed on our trip. « Zero phone reception in the remote area of Craig but Wi-Fi was great inside rental. Roads leading up to cabin off main highway were in poor shape and driveway leading up to cabin was steep and difficult to walk up. Mice and/or rat crap in various locations inside the cabin. No grill and no couch or sofa in main living area otherwise well stocked with accessories. »
