Enjoy your stay at THE HILLTOP HIDEOUT III, which is located directly above the famous Georgia Mountain Coaster inside of Helen, GA. This cozy chalet is the perfect destination spot for family or friends looking for an Alpine Adventure in a Bavarian Themed Town in Appalachia OR if you are looking for a "flexcation!" There is also a private office space for working while still getting away! Appreciate the beautiful hilltop view on a large patio while indulging in nature, grilling and having your favorite beverage. Take advantage of the multiple attractions, state parks, wineries, breweries, food, fishing, tubing, and family friendly activities. Don't forget to visit a few favorites: Unicoi State Park, Anna Ruby Falls, Dukes Creek Falls, Yonah Mountain, Cool River Tubing, Helen Waterpark, Alpine Mini Golf, Dukes Creek Mines, Woody's Mountain Bikes, Alpine Fun Factory, Hardman Farm State Historic Sight, Charlemagne's Kingdom, and more!

Note, we named these Hilltop Hideout because they are located at the top of a hill. Walking to town is an option (my kids always choose it), but it is steep. Plan accordingly.

Almost perfect...

Everything was great ..except the AC/Heat did not work on our floor..the main floor ..so heat from other floors kept us hot...the stove oven did not heat evenly ..burnt some and other food not done...need some pans to cook in ..only had a Wok to cook in and even with Pam everything stuck.Oven needs cleaned desperately ..Everytime oven opened the smoke made alarms (3) go off..and smoked up house.Plenty of glassware to cook in ...all other supplies very adequate..very nice neighborhood...for the most part enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic Property

We booked for a family get-a-way to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. It was perfect with all the space needed. Perfectly located close enough to downtown but far away enough to feel like we were in the mountains. Property owner was communicative and responsive. Highly recommend this location and looking forward to a return visit!

Fun at Hilltop Helen

Very impressed with layout, furnishings, kitchen accessories, extra fold up table and chairs, etc. There was so much room having three floors. Host was in constant contact with me. Very beautiful and spacious cabin. Would book this cabin again.

We really enjoyed staying at this house. There is plenty of room and very well stocked. It is in walking distance to town but the walk is very steep. We would stay here again. It is in a great location and also has room for three cars.

Property was great for a long weekend getaway to Helen for Octoberfest and the Brews, Blues and Barbecues at the Georgia Mountain Fair. House was clean and nicely furnished. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful!

This was the perfect place for our group! Grand parents, children and grandchildren. The three levels worked great to give everyone their space. Close to town, not a bad walk. A little steep, but this 74 yr. old made it!😁 We had a wonderful time!

Perfect from every aspect

The property is exactly as described. Management is great and responsive. Great location and great property. Because the home is at the top of a very very steep hill its not walkable with small children. But not a problem if you have any amount of physical ability and STILL not a problem bc its so close to everything. The whole family loved the house. Cant think of a single complaint. We had a great time tubing, going to unicoi beach, enjoying the shops and restaurants in town. So much fun. Cant wait to come back.

Location is Everything!

Best location in Helen, you can walk to the mountain coaster and right into town! This house is not run down like most of the places in town, it’s brand new and SOOO clean! Not a speck of dust anywhere! The host provided us with everything we needed, we never had to dip into our own supplies. The house is beautifully decorated and has so much space. Two large decks made hanging out a breeze! We will absolutely be back! As a rental property owner myself, it’s hard to find places that meet our standards. This one did not disappoint!

What a great home, location and space

The property is very nice. It sleeps a lot of people and is close to town. It was clean and very nicely decorated, great amenities. I would definitely recommend this home if you have a group. It was cheaper than getting hotel rooms for all of us, which was a plus. There is a steep hill to get to it, so walking could prove hard for some, our young adults walked to town and back no problem. It is only a couple minute drive to town for those who don't want to walk.
