The Space:
Youâll enjoy modern decor, wood beams, updated furniture, fireplace and plenty of seating for the entire gang. A fully stocked kitchen, perfect for preparing your favorite recipe. Seating in both the dining room and kitchen bar as well as on the deck and in the screened in porch - plenty of options for gathering with your group. Nature lovers will appreciate the access to Tuscarora Trail just a quarter mile away, with access to several hiking trails. After a long day of hiking and exploring, guests will also enjoy the expansive deck with plenty of seating, a fire pit and amazing views. You can even see the Milky Way from the deck or hot tub. Upstairs you'll find a cozy reading nook for relaxing with a good book or taking a work call. A great option for your family, friends or small group to get away for a little rejuvenation and relaxation!

Please note: Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but due to the natural setting, you may still notice some leaves, pollen, or similarâespecially during certain seasons. We appreciate your understanding as nature tends to leave its mark, no matter how often we tidy up!

1. The Woods Golf Course (distance from house - 10 minutes): Renowned for âfun and fairâ golf, the 18-hole championship Mountain View course is perfect for low handicappers and the Stony Lick mid-length course for the rest of us!
2. The Old Roman Bathhouse (distance from house - 30 minutes): Home to a mineral spa that has been in use since colonial times, the parkâs Old Roman and Main bathhouses offer a wide selection of spa services, including massages, saunas, baths and showers.
3. Cacapon Resort State Park (distance from house - 40 minutes): Offers hiking, fishing, and golfing, with beautiful views and various trails.
4. Berkeley Springs State Park (distance from house - 25 minutes): Known for its natural mineral springs and spa services, it's a lovely spot for relaxation.
5. Spring Valley Farmers Market (distance from house - 15 minutes): Stock up on local produce and baked goods
6. Black Draft Farm & Distillery (distance from house - 25 minutes): Near the farmers market, and the perfect spot for a drink!

8. Antietam National Battlefield (distance from house - 50 minutes): Just a short drive away, it's a significant Civil War site with walking trails and informative exhibits.

10. Shenandoah National Park (distance from house - 1 hour and 25 minutes): Bursting with cascading waterfalls, spectacular vistas, fields of wildflowers, and quiet wooded hollows. With over 200,000 acres of protected lands.
Note: A 4-wheel drive is highly recommended in winter for our house. The hill leading to our cabin can be tough to climb.
