« Absolutely delightful hotel. Me and a friend booked a room each for the Hay Festival, and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The staff were wonderful; helpful, friendly, even showed us to our rooms. The location was great, not too far away but far enough that I’d was quiet and tranquil. The breakfast is well worth the money, as is the Old Barn pub across the road, where we ate that night. A fantastic stay, I can’t wait to return with my husband next time. »

« Very nice B&B, very close to a great waling tour in the Brecon park. Nice staff, nice room, nice breakfast. Even if there's a pub in the hotel, it's not noisy. »

« Loved our peaceful stay in this very well equipped cottage. It’s in a great location with loads to do in the local area. The cottage has almost everything you could want, including a dishwasher! »

« Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful . Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. »

« The local church is lovely and worth a visit. Good walks on Offa's Dyke's path. The property would suit a book fanatic as the place is full of expensive first edition copies and cobwebs! Barking dogs at night from a nearby property kept us awake. Otherwise ok. »

« Great location, very friendly and helpful owner (Steve), excellent facilities and very comfortable holiday home ….with 7 days of 20+ temperatures and wall to wall sunshine ! …only very slight negative being that the windows could prob do with a better clean given the great views. Steve’s recommendation of the Seven Stars at Aberedw about 2 miles away was also excellent…nothing fancy about the food but very tasty, good portions and a really nice environment in a community owned country pub. »
