Greystones House is a charming, grade II listed, end of terrace house, built from the same stone as the Cathedral set right in the heart of the tiny City of St Davids. Renovated throughout, it has been beautifully furnished in an eclectic mix of carefully sourced antique and contemporary pieces, yet retaining many original features and character with practical, wood floors and local artwork on the walls; the cosy sitting room with wood burning stove makes a delightful retreat, while the second lounge gives space for children to watch TV and play games. The split-level fitted kitchen/diner with large, farmhouse table is perfect for family meals. A useful boot room/utility area leads out to the enclosed, rear garden with a sheltered, paved terrace to enjoy a barbecue on a summer’s evening, steps lead up to a lawn with mature trees. The bedrooms above make a welcoming retreat. Perfectly situated with all the shops, pubs, restaurants and galleries of this tiny city on your doorstep, enjoy a visit to the Cathedral and Bishops Palace with its walled close of 18 acres and the venue for music festivals, art and craft exhibitions, as well as open air theatre. The nearest beach, Caerfai, is less than a mile away, while there is a choice of 3 others nearby. Whitesands is only a short drive away and is renowned for surfing and popular with beginners and professionals alike.
