Inside the cottage, a wood-burning fireplace sets the tone for cozy evenings during the colder months (only to be used in fall and winter months). All reservations are given arrival times of 4:00 pm and departure times of 11:00 am
Rentals include a cleaning service; however, the cottage must be left in a tidy condition
Garbage and recycling removal prior to departure is required
Cottage has a western exposure, but no sunset view
Good snow tires are required for winter access





Waterfront The lake bottom is muddy, so the best swimming is off the dock. There are some weeds, but it's generally suitable for swimming. Water shoes may be preferred because of the weeds on the lake bottom. There is no boat launch at the cottage.

Petroglyph's Provincial Park. Largest known concentration of Indigenous rock carvings (petroglyphs) in Canada, depicting turtles, snakes, birds, humans and more; this sacred site is known as "The Teaching Rocks". Visit the Learning Place Visitor Centre, or bright blue/green McGinnis Lake - one of only a handful of meromictic (layers of water that don't intermix) lakes in Canada. Great opportunities for wildlife viewing. (30 mins)
Warsaw Caves Conservation Area. Hiking trails feature limestone caves, kettles, scenic lookout (35 mins)
Upper Cordova Falls. The falls at Upper Cordova Falls are the largest of the 3 falls, and there's a good view from atop the small concrete dam. The bedrock is a jet black, giving the rocky banks a unique appearance. (30 mins)
George Street Park. Park with a playground and splashpad for the kids (20 mins)
