« So happy to have found this gem of a hotel! A historic, 500 year old building on the banks of the Rhine. The room was very comfortable and the staff extremely friendly and accommodating. I would definitely go back! A few things to be aware of: there is no elevator, a taxi or Uber between Eglisau and the Zurich airport cost between 50 and 100 Swiss francs, and the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. But all in all, a lovely, relaxing place, so different from Zurich. »

« We enjoyed our one night stay in this hotel. The front desk lady was super nice and let us check in before 3:00pm. She gave us Basel Card and explained how to benefit from it. It saved us a lot of money for public transportation and museums. The room was very clean. The only thing that we think could improve is the outlets by the bed. If they could put one outlet on each side of the bed, that'll be more convenient. Overall, it's a nice hotel that we would recommend to anyone visiting Basel. »

« très bel hôtel, très belle chambre, tout confort et très bon lit. bien centré mais du coup, un peu bruyant (on ne peut pas tout avoir). dommage pas de restaurant. personnel extrêmement sympathique et serviable. J'y retournerai et je recommande vivement. »

« L’accueil est très sympa, la chambre toute neuve et parfaitement équipée, enfin le petit déjeuner, en option, était très bon. Le centre du bourg et les restaurants sont à 8mn à pieds. »
