« We had a wonderful time. The house is colorful and filled with whimsical art, which we enjoyed. Very convenient to the town of Murphys, only about 2 miles away. We would definitely stay there again. We would have loved to spend time on the back patio. Unfortunately for us, the week we chose was rainy off and on. Access was easy compared to other experiences we have had. Owner very amicable. »

« This was a lovely house near the downtown. It was walkable but we drove due to the health of a few members of our Party. Also very close to the grocery store. Rooms were very comfortable and the studio built in the ADU was very lovely. We had the best time just hanging out in the backyard on the very comfortable deck and sitting around the fire pit. We were a party of 7 and it worked very well. I would stay there again. Communication with owner was quick and clear. »

« I really can't say enough about this property. The location is perfect, right on Washington Street, the main thoroughfare in Sonora. The entire town is walkable from here. The property itself is maintained in excellent condition - especially considering that it's well over 100 years old. The bedroom at the rear of the unit is quiet and comfortable. « Outstanding property in the wonderful Gold Country town of Murphys. House was clean, nicely furnished and fully equipped. Huge backyard that allowed our pooch to roam and investigate.Location was perfect. Walkable to the middle of town (less than a mile) and a couple restaurants and nice local market less than 1/2 mile. Yet far enough out to provide a quiet, restful experience. We loved it. »
