« This is a lovely place to stay. Kathrin the owner very friendly and helpful, her English is excellent. The hotel is beautifully decorated and you can buy toiletries, snacks and drinks. Comfy bed, nice pillows, decent WiFi. Shower took a while to warm up but was excellent when it did. Effective and easy to adjust heating. The breakfast buffet is superb. Theres no lift but there are some ground floor rooms and at worst you have to go up 2 flights of stairs. The hotel is on a quiet street but...

« Pension Barbara is a very cosy and clean pension right next to the paths leading up to The Brocken. The hostess was very sweet and attentive, and we had a good stay. Schierke as a town is a bit dated and quiet in the autumn, when we visited. Is was difficulty to find a place to just have a couple of drinks etc. The national park, Brocken and paths are all excellent for a short hiking-holiday. Great nature, chalenging paths (if you want it), nice restaurant on the summit. »

« Nydelige værelser, som levede helt op til beskrivelsen ...og vigtigst af alt gode senge. God beliggenhed i fht en gåtur i byen, hjælpsomt personale og fin morgenbuffet. Sprog: helst kun tysk, men ved fælles hjælp fandt vi løsninger på alting. »

« Excellent conditions of the House we lived in where everything was nicely renovated 10-15 walk to the citycenter Parking right outside the house Kitchen had everything we needet and with 2 bedrioms, 2 reatrooms and a spacious livingroom it was Perfect for a family with 3 children and a small dog The landlady was very nice and helpfull Highly recommendet »

« Wir haben mit zwei Pärchen einen Kurzurlaub im Thaler Hof in Thale/Harz gemacht und waren alle vier enttäuscht. Die Zimmer waren extrem klein und hatten keinen Sitzkomfort ( 2 Holzstühle ohne Armlehnen und Kissen ). Es fehlten auch Ablagemöglichkeiten und Nachtschränkchen zur Aufbewahrung von Kleinutensilien. Der Zimmer Tisch hatte eine Größe von ca. 50 mal 50 cm. Steckdosen waren genug vorhanden. Das Frühstück war unser Meinung nach auch keine 8,50 Euro wert. Wir haben schon für 7 Euro...
