A 7-night Friday-to-Friday rental reservation is required during peak summer weeks. Many of our homes offer flexible stays with a 3 night minimum in the off season - ask our Reservation Specialists for more details.
Guests can bring their own linens or rent from our Linen Service for an extra fee (Bed Sheets, Bath, Beach and Kitchen Towels)
We offer a 4 pm Check-In and 10 am Check-Out

Welcome to Cranberry Cottage! 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeping 5. Dog-friendly, central AC, open floorplan, vaulted ceiling, large windows overlooking deck leading to tranquil yard, a mile to Red River Beach and with proximity to both downtown Harwich Port and Chatham as well!

Let Us Tell You About This Home:
At the bend in the natural road that weaves through a quaint neighborhood of generational family cottages that evoke the Cape communities of the past sits Cranberry Cottage. Nestled away out of sight from the road and abutting a former cranberry bog that is now conservation land, this home offers an all encompassing peaceful environment - all while being near downtown Harwich Port and Red River Beach.

Approach the home and be welcomed in by the cheerful red hue of the front door - in this home, you will always feel welcome. Upon entering, you will find a full bathroom (#1) with shower to your right and a bedroom (#1) with Queen sized bed and stacked washer/dryer in the closet. This convenient set up allows guests with mobility issues to never have to leave the main level.

Continue down the entry hall and you will find yourself in the kitchen which is an extended galley set up that runs the length of the home and serves as the introduction to the open floorplan of the main living space. In front of you is a large dining table for six and beyond that is the sliding glass door leading to the deck overlooking the serene outdoor space.

Stepping into the dining area, you will be facing a wall of windows/glass in front of you. Looking up, you will see the vaulted ceilings soaring to greet the second level of the home. Bordering the dining are on your left is the living room with fireplace as the focal point and plenty of comfortable seating.

Ascend the stairs as you overlook the living space and expand your view of the backyard with every step. Reach the landing and you will see the daybed with trundle that acts as a lounge space or additional sleep space. Off of the upper level landing, you will find a full bathroom (#2) with tub (only) and another bedroom (#2) offering a Queen sized bed and large closet filling an entire wall.

Returning to the first level of Cranberry Cottage, you can venture through the sliding door to your own private oasis. Choose to prepare a meal on the gas grill, dine al fresco at the outdoor dining set surrounded by whimsical string lights or shower under the stars in the outdoor shower - you will find that the view through the large windows will act as a force, drawing your attention and your physical being outdoors to enjoy the natural setting. While there, enjoy the serenity, only interrupted by the melodic chirping of the birds who call this special space home. Sit quietly outside with your morning coffee and see the bunnies hop about as they explore their familiar haunts looking for something to nibble on. Further immerse yourself in the local flora by finding your way to the circular path that surrounds the former cranberry bog and surely encounter other Cape Cod fauna on your way.

With a quiet location abutting conservation land, a short drive to Red River Beach and proximity to the food and fun in downtown Harwich Port, you will have everything that defines a Cape Cod vacation while able to exist in a home where the outside is brought in, the natural surroundings are celebrated and the guests are always welcomed - this is Cranberry Cottage!

DOG FRIENDLY HOMES are for a DOG only. This home allows 1 dog for $25 per night. With owner approval, a second dog may be considered for an additional $25 nightly fee. A Pet Registration form must be completed upon reservation confirmation.
Max parking of cars at property: 3 - No parking on lawn anytime.
Fireplace in this home is not for guest use.

Tucked away at the end of a quiet unpaved road is this gem. This rental had a beautiful grass yard with lots of shade for our dogs to enjoy. A comfy hammock and spacious interior. We loved it!
