Welcome to the most beautiful place in the WORLD ! Located on 3 acres and adjacent to the 86 acre Parlsow Road Conservation Area. You may come for the baseball but you will return for the serenity that this very special home offers. Beautiful wildlife awaits and a short walk to private creek access for a summer afternoon paddle. Spectacular cool breezes through the screen doors of the main bedroom in the morning, 'Rocking Chair Sunsets' from the front porch at dusk, Glimmerglass Opera in the evening. It all awaits your arrival. This home is available June through September.

Day trips to the breweries & wineries. Brunch on the veranda at The Otesaga. Boat rentals from Sam Smith's boatyard and an afternoon of shopping at The Mingo Market. Council Rock Fish Fry on Friday Nights or WALK to Jerry's Ice Cream for a little afternoon delight featuring the best soft serve in the area. Crickets and Frogs will serende you in the backyard at the campfire. You cannot beat this lifestyle if it's relaxation you are looking for.

House includes a generous King Sized Main Suite with private bathroom. The upstairs loft is airy and open with 2 Queen beds. The great room has a luxurious pullout sofa.

Open floor plan blends the exquisite kitchen with a farmhouse dining table that seats 8 and a great room that opens out onto 325 sq ft porch. The private back porch seats 8 plus, plus. And, if you listen carefully you will hear the gentle lowing of the neighbor's cattle.

Great Stay for Dream Park Cooperstown

The house was very nice and the perfect location to watch our son play at Dream Park. About a 15 min drive to DP. It was close to Cooperstown, Ommegang Brewery and The Otesaga. We played lawn games in the yard and the back deck was beautiful, relaxing and private! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. We grilled and ate at the big dinning room table. There was 5 adults and 1 10 year old. We fit comfortably. Jan was super easy to communicate with and responded very quickly. The only other thing I’d like to add is the house is a 1 bedroom house with a loft with 2 beds. Which is one big room with the beds on opposite sides. We were all immediate family so it worked out, but when I originally booked the house I thought it was a 3 bedroom house as that’s what was listed in the details. It would have been nice for all adults/couples to have their own bedroom for privacy but because we are a close knit family it worked out.

Great quiet stay near Cooperstown

My wife, daughter, and I stayed here along with my parents while my son played baseball at Dreams Park in Cooperstown. The location was about 16 minutes from the complex and was easy to navigate to and from. One of the main reasons we booked it was so that my older parents would have a first floor bedroom and bathroom so my dad would not have to go up and down stairs. The host was phenomenal, you couldn't ask for a better one. I may have misread the listing because the second floor is an open area with two beds and I was thinking it was going to be bedrooms. However, the beds were both comfortable and it was not a problem for our party. We had a wonderful stay, it didn't feel long enough, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

You never know what you're going to get when you see online postings for rental properties. Not only did this property FAR exceed our expectations, but the Owner was amazing, hospitable and super responsive to any questions we had. I would stay here again in a second!

Amazing!

Stop searching and book this property! You won't find a more amazing home with such a wonderful, caring host. Check-in was easy with a simple door code and once in the host had left a frozen emergency pizza in the fridge which was very thoughtful considering we got in so late and we're exhausted from traveling. The home is situated in a very quite, nature filled area. We enjoyed two young fawns grazing every morning as we sipped our coffee from the front porch. The home is close enough to Cooperstown Dream Park that if there's a delay in games or someone forgets sunscreen, it was quick to run home. The house was spotless and had everything you could need. If we're ever in the area again, I have no doubt we'll be returning to this wonderful property and host.

Great place to stay for Dreams Park

The house was very nice, clean and well stocked with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Jan was very responsive and welcoming. We stayed while attending Cooperstown Dreams Park which was a short drive away. If we ever need to return to the area we would stay here again! Thanks Jan!

Perfect Stay For A Week At Dreams Park!

Us- four adults (parents and grandparents watching our son play at Dreams Park). Wonderful communication from owner, even left a nice package of cookies upon our arrival. Home had everything we needed- more than want we have encountered at other VRBOs. When I say clean...I mean not a scuff on the floor clean, showers very clean, linens all clean. Great backyard and grill was used twice with no problems. 1st floor master was perfect for grandparents. Close enough for us to get back and forth to Dreams Park twice per day (between 11:30 and 4:30 games), but far enough out that we could see every single star in the sky at night. Several other families were in awe of our place and came over between games rather than going back to their own. Jerry's (small diner) was nice and close for a quick meal or evening ice cream. 10-15 minutes from downtown Cooperstown. I could go on and on. Cannot say enough positive things about our stay. Perfect place for the week!

Cooperstown Dream

We booked Jan’s property for our son’s week at Cooperstown Dreams Park. Our party consisted of two Gen Xer’s and three Boomers and on occasion whatever a 12 year old might be. (Gen Z? He would say this is so cringe) My Mom and her Husband were able to access the upstairs beds/room while my MIL decided to stay downstairs on the pullout couch to be closer to the bathroom. My husband and I were in the lovely main suite. The check in AND out process were amazingly easy. Upon arrival we were greeted with treats and a sweet note that set the tone for the stay. The “house book” is easy to understand and full of great ideas for area amusement. We spent the majority of our time at the ballpark which was close enough to the property for comfort but we did get to enjoy the large back porch and cooked several meals in the well equipped kitchen. Any issue that came up was met swiftly with a response and resolution. I especially was thankful for the large amount and different kinds of sleeping pillows available at the house. I found two that were just right for me and enjoyed many peaceful nights after long days of baseball. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a country get away or spending a week at Cooperstown. My only regret is not having another 12 year old to ensure we’re coming back again!

Cooperstown Dreams Park Stay

We were very impressed with this house!! From the small details to the big, the owner had thought of everything! She was easy to communicate with, and you could tell she genuinely wanted our time there to be fantastic! The kitchen was well equipped, which allowed us to cook meals at home. We even used the grill on the porch. The porch was a peaceful place to start each morning! We will highly recommend this house to others!

Location location location

Spent five nights. Close to Cooperstown. Did two hikes. Went to several restaurants and breweries. Fly Creek just down the road and Origins Cafe just outside of Cooperstown. The house was perfect base camp and awesome place to return at night and relax on back porch. Host was fantastic, communicated well and whole process was easy.

Cooperstown baseball trip

We loved our stay at the Creekside Retreat. The entire property is so clean, the home is surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers. We loved seeing the deer, rabbits, and fireflys. Jan was so easy to deal with and responded immediately to our needs. There was a traveling nurse living in the basement apt. but we only saw him once and otherwise would not have known he was there. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Beautiful home

I loved the home and it fit our family well. The personal touches upon arrival were quite welcoming. The home is well built and had all the necessary amenities. The beds, pillows and linens were comfortable, which is very important to us. I loved the layout, although I didn’t realize that the top level is all one open loft. The longer description is accurate maybe VRBO doesn’t really allow you to choose this type of layout, so I can see how this is tricky for the listing. Either way, worked out great. I was appreciative of the note upon arrival regarding the traveling nurse that resided in the living quarters beneath us. However, if I weren’t with my husband I might have felt uncomfortable. He was not a bother at all, I was just surprised. There were nice large window air conditioners for both levels. We only used the top one before bedtime to cool off the room and it was very efficient. We cannot thank Jan enough for being responsive and thoughtful. Thank you for opening up your quaint home for rental!

Family Getaway

Welcoming and relaxing! Had a wonderful four night getaway with grown children and spouses. Location was serene & beautiful and the home was spotless, spacious, and well equipped. Very convenient to access local attractions. Ample parking was appreciated. Communication with the owner was a breeze and she couldn’t have been more helpful.
