« The cabin is quaint and designed like a tiny house. There was a queen bed in the loft. The stairs to the loft were actual stairs. It was easy to climb up. The ceiling was high in the miiddle so we could stand. The bathroom had a good shower without walls. So plenty of room. I think it would be beautiful in the fall. Cicadas were singing and flying around. We had a good time. We would recommend it to others. »

« Minutes from Garden of the Gods and River to River Trail. Temps too hot so we tried to be on trail by 7:30. On dead end road but noisy compared where we live (not bad). Great wildflowers and birds. Loved having a full kitchen. My husband in hot every day. »

« A true log cabin with air conditioning and a kitchen. The only issue I had was the lack of a sink in the bathroom. Because the original cabin was very old, it had dropped in one corner so the floor was sloped which was a little disorienting. Despite being pet friendly, It was pretty clean and the location in Shawnee National Forest was ideal for hiking. »

« Me and my buddy stayed at this property for our annual Shawnee hike trip. The house was as described and only a short 1 minute drive from the Garden of the Gods outpost and only two miles from the Garden of the Gods entrance. We will definitely stay here again! »

« Came to unplug and it was wonderful. Hiked nearby and being able to return to the cabin and cook dinner each night was a pleasure. Being dog friendly brought us to stay here and we enjoyed having her with us. »

« Ive been down to Shawnee a few times for the New Year but this was our first stay (but hopefully not the last) at this great cabin. It was a great location - minutes from Garden of the Gods and close to our other favorite hikes in the Bell Springs area. The cabin itself was clean, with a nice kitchen, 2 nice bathrooms (with plenty of hot water) and bedrooms and fun stuff for the kiddos (my daughter loved the air hockey table). The hot tub was a real treat after a day of hiking in the cold....

« VERY CLEAN HOTEL! Easy to tell everything has been updated & is very well maintained. Convenient location close to I-80. Friendly & efficient desk staff. Our room had a lovely view of the surrounding mountains & we were able to see a beautiful sunset right from our window. Honestly I can’t think of anything negative about this hotel. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip east. »
