The main level offers a wonderful open-concept living space designed to bring everyone together while taking full advantage of the panoramic ocean views! The kitchen, dining area, and living area flow naturally into one another, making it easy to cook, dine, relax, and spend time together without ever losing sight of the water. The kitchen features a spacious island that is perfect for gathering over morning coffee, preparing a family dinner, or enjoying a glass of wine while taking in the scenery. There is also a separate sitting area on the main floor with a TV, providing a comfortable place to unwind after a day exploring the coast. A full bathroom and separate laundry room are also conveniently located on this level.
Upstairs, you'll find three comfortable bedrooms and a second full bathroom. The ocean-view “master” bedroom features an Olympic queen-size bed and some of the home's most beautiful views, along with a private balcony where you can step outside and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Maine coast. The second bedroom also offers an Olympic queen-size bed and its own beautiful ocean views, while the third bedroom has two twin-size beds, making it a comfortable option for additional guests. (The Olympic sized Queen beds are a bit larger than a typical queen size mattress, and a little smaller than a king size!)
Outside, the property truly comes alive. A nice-sized yard offers plenty of space to relax and enjoy the spectacular ocean setting, while the patio, furnished with outdoor seating, creates a wonderful spot for morning coffee, an afternoon drink, or even an evening meal overlooking the water.
Just steps from the property, you'll find a wonderful little piece of the Maine coast. The beach area is naturally shaped by the tides, with ocean-worn rocks, beautiful sea glass, and ever-changing views of the water. This isn't a traditional sandy beach; which is part of its charm! It's an authentic Maine shoreline where you can sit by the water, search for sea glass, watch the tides come and go, or take a refreshing swim.
The shoreline is also a wonderful spot for guests who bring their own kayaks. With just three steps down to the beach area, it's an easy place to launch your kayak and explore the surrounding shoreline at your own pace. Paddle along the coast, take in the views from the water, and experience Harpswell from a completely different perspective.
