Charming Beachfront Cottage on Lake Michigan near Harbor Springs

Tucked below a bluff, along the Tunnel of Trees, you’ll find the perfect northern Michigan get away - The Windfall Cottage is situated on a wooded acre lot with 180 feet of secluded Lake Michigan beachfront. The 2-bedroom, 2.5 bath cottage is beautifully updated with coastal chic touches throughout. The upstairs loft suite is open and spacious, featuring a king bed and full bathroom as well as a living area with queen sleeper sofa for extra sleeping accommodations (see video for a closer look at the space). The bedroom in the basement has a queen bed and its own full, private bathroom. The half bath is conveniently located on the main floor, near the kitchen and dining room.

We hope you plan to cook during your stay because the kitchen at the Windfall Cottage has all the bells and whistles to make a gourmet meal! You'll find induction safe pots & pans, dishes, utensils, dish towels and pot holders, a classic drip Smeg coffee pot with filters and a few coffee packets to get you started, a keurig pod machine, a Smeg toaster, microwave, dishwasher, Wolf induction cooktop (please use only the induction safe pots and pans provided), Wolf oven in island, 2 Subzero lower fridge units in kitchen, a Subzero fridge/freezer with ice maker unit at the coffee station and another full fridge/freezer in the basement for all the Costco lovers out there! There is also an outdoor dining area and Weber grill with propane tank provided. When you get here, make yourself at home and check out each cabinet and drawer. There may be appliances and utensils that you hadn’t expected!

We provide bath & beach towels, bedroom linens, paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex, Shampoo/conditioner/body wash, hand soap, dish soap, All Purpose cleaning spray, dishwasher pods and laundry detergent.

The basement has a storage area with laundry room (washer & dryer) that you're welcome to use during your stay. This is also were the beach towels and extra supplies are stored.

The cottage is incredibly cozy with in-floor heat throughout and a beautiful wood burning stone fireplace that adds to the warmth and ambience. You'll find oscillating fans in both bedrooms as well.

There are two security cameras on site, one at the front entrance and one at the living room lake side entrance. They are directed only at the entrances and are used for security purposes only.

Whether you’re relaxing indoors, enjoying a quiet afternoon on the beach, or toasting to a beautiful sunset, once you arrive, you won’t want to leave this picturesque cottage!
