It’s a very decent, clean, reasonably priced option. But there a few drawbacks: it’s close to, but not actually in, the Old Quarter which is the most interesting part of town. It overlooks the train station so, depending on which way your room faces, noise could be a problem. The desk staff is super friendly and courteous, but speaking English is not their strong point. The breakfast is abundant, but favors Asian rather than Western fare (which is not to say they don’t have eggs, potatoes and bread. They do.) The rooms and bathroom and beds are pretty nice although several of my fellow travelers reported drainage issues with the showers. All in all, not a bad deal for a reasonable rate if you find the above considerations acceptable.
