« Rented the home to host my family for Thanksgiving and it could not have been better! The host was incredibly flexible and quick to communicate! The only tricky part was finding the home since it has a slightly different address than the listing, but the host was able to provide clear directions on how to find it! Would definitely recommend this house to others and hope to make it back! »

« Return guests; we stayed in here in 2021 as our first post-covid summer getaway and returned a few years later! We stay at a ton of vrbos (and similar) and rarely return to the same one twice, so our return is a testament to this great carriage house.Dawn is a meticulous, kind host with great attention to detail. As Bostonians we consider New London a real gem and we prefer it to many MA beach towns for price, accessibility, and laid-backness! »

« We had a very brief stay (Thursday night to Friday morning) for our son’s graduation from submarine school. The house and area were very pleasant, and would be comfortable for an extended trip. Very clean, plenty of basic kitchenwares, and in February the fireplace was a nice touch.One caveat: the listing says it is about 5 miles away from the USS Nautilus, but that must be as the crow flies, because it was actually a 20-minute drive to base. Keep that in mind before you leave for graduation!...

« We were a group of women who needed a place to gather. This house is a wonderful house. Full of beautiful art and plants. The side porch off the living room is a fabulous place to sit in the morning. Just a great place. »

« We had a very good stay. The descriptions are accurate. There are a couple of updates. From the materials provided in advance, the entry instructions need to be updated (there is a lock code on the door versus a key box). Also, the wifi access information needs to be updated and the landline is not functional. Also, the chiminea has been upgraded to a gas firepit.We found that the walk to beach access was very easy.
