We did not use any other the lake stuff so cannot comment on life jackets, kayaks, etc. dirt road to get into property is a bit bumpy and narrow - just have to take it slowly to avoid holes, bumps, etc. very good stay. « Wonderful lakehouse and amenities! The property is clean, spacious and provided my family with everything we needed for a wonderful time. Lovely decor, outdoor deck for grilling and dining and fire pit for s’mores and relaxing. The kids loved the dock, we used the kayaks many times, and also brought some of our own floats. The hosts are very friendly and made us feel welcome. Overall amazing vacation! »

« Rich and Cheryl were wonderful and the location for us was great. The cottage was nice unfortunately the upstairs where we were was extremely hot. The air conditioning was downstairs in the historic school room only. Sleeping was quite uncomfortable. »

« Had a wonderful stay with my 2 kids. the view was wonderful having a cup of coffee on the deck looking at the lake. checking in and out was very easy. the set up gave a lot of room for the 3 of us. « Just returned from a very relaxing two-week stay at Little Dipper. The property grounds are well kept and the view and access to the lake so enjoyable! The inside is well maintained, clean, neat and organized. The kitchen is stocked with everything one could possibly need with upscale appliances! It was a pleasure to meet Little Dipper's kind and friendly hosts, Lynn and Keith. We will be returning! »

« Great house, welcoming, clean, comfortable bed, everything works (!). It is also close everything we needed, which is Tanglewood and the Great Barrington area. Overall, we had a great stay. We did not use the kayaks as they seemed to us a bit outdated and easy to flip, but maybe we just needed more experience in it.Would definitely recommend the house to our friends. »

« Sweet cabin in a great spot. Despite houses nearby, the property is screened off by plantings and felt very private. Direct access to the lake was a treat. The cabin is airy, bright, and clean. The whole area was quiet, with sounds from a camp across the lake adding to the vibe. Despite a few 90 degree days, it was surprisingly cool inside with 4 ceiling fans and closed windows (per host advice). »
