« Loved this stay- unforgettable experience of having a little caboose on a hill, overlooking the railyard to ourselves. Will absolutely be looking to come back. The interior is nicely appointed, so much original character, thoughtfully preserved. Must love trains- the railyard is active around the clock- which was a plus for me to be so close to this exciting industrious activity, but it does screech sometimes if you're sensitive to that, so there's earplugs provided. « From beginning to end, could not have dreamed of a better island getaway, in the Berkshire’s none-the -less. Bill was a wonderful host. Very friendly, responsive and helpful. Super welcoming. The home was simple, quaint, and super cozy. Perfect for a nice long relaxing weekend for both the dogs and people. The views from the sun room were lovely. The deck/patio area had a beautiful view of the water. The fire pit was a nice perk in the evening. Surrounded by water, the place felt so private....

« We had a wonderful time. The cottage was super clean and exactly as advertised. The view of the lake from the front slider was beautiful. The water was very clean and we went swimming and kayaking every day. The sandy beach made it very easy to get into the water. Our Golden Retriever, Sunny, loved swimming and chasing the minnows by the shore. We enjoyed the local restaurants and.the seafood at the Maine Attraction was great.. We wished we could have stayed longer and plan to come back again...
